Gensokyo is a land that exists in the fragments of human imagination, hence its namesake. Thus so it may be manipulated by the arisal of human
Imagination. However, mousou is not in the confines of control by the willing conscious mind and may only be constructed in the realms of the
Unreal.
Gensokyo and the "real world" were supposed to be one but has been physically seperated by the Great Hakurei barrier due to fears of conflict and corruption of Mousou in the Human society of today.
It is thus so that the ancient Greeks had achieved the absolute paramount of Human society, as they had achieved the peaceful coexistance between
mousou and the humanly conscious reality. Modern society however, driven by an everlasting cycle of decadence towards capitalistic essentialism,
had by its very nature become corrosive, especially in terms of relations between the humanly reality, with its capitalistic essentialism, and the world
of Mousou. Mousou has still maintained fundemental existence in the outside world, as the two worlds are created toghether and could not be parted.
however, the physical correlations are separated fundementally by the great Hakurei Barrier, thus rendering physical laws as rules able to be surpassed
in the realm of Gensokyo, but not in the outside world. Gensokyo still has to obey physical laws, as could be seen by the everyday physical phenomenoms,
but phenomenoms could be "artificially" manipulated by outside forces to extents beyond explanation by physical laws.
Thus it is so that Gensokyo is a land worthy of the name "Eastern Utopia". It exists in the confines of the forgotten, unreal and contradicting values
of our manly world. Its very nature, being of Mousou, renders it impossible to be put into words of the regular human kind. Only through the
language of the unreal it may be documented, but, those means had already been sealed off by previouly mentioned means, putting Gensokyo
into a realm of impossibility in our worldly eyes; though through the crevices of perception, we may still percieve it. It is because that the unspoken
rules fundemental to the existence and revolving of both worlds, mousou and "real", are structured fundementally so that it may be applied to both,
which by nature is toghether. Perhaps to maintain physical existence within the confines of spacetime within this universe, as required in both realms
to maintain the status of existance, Gensokyo is settled on a physical piece of land. Pure Mousou cannot function: pure mousou with no land where
it may carry out its deeds is lying in a land outside of this universe: in our dimension of "existence". Gensokyo is then needed in order to maintain
physical existence within the universe, or else it would shatter. Thus is a fundemental rule of the universe, that may not be surpassed even by mousou.
Gensokyo thus serves as an physical settlement, or sanctuary in which the actions of mousou are carried out. As like a tenant: a store cannot exist
without a store. The land of Gensokyo itself is the land rented to the businesses of the unreal.
Through the Taoist Yin Yang symbol it is made clear the fundemental workings of the ultimate reality: within "reality" there exists in its very core
the essence of Mousou, and vice versa. This explains the similarities and differences of both worlds simutaneously.
Gensokyo is subject to the human mind of the outside world: as mousou could not recreat mousou. Fantasy is a end point in itself with no realm in
beyond; it is only throu recreation of the essence of mousou in the real world, mousou is born in the world of mousou.
We run into an problem now: if the world of mousou contains the very essence of humanly nature, does it not also include capitalistic essentialism?
It is solved below:
As the land of Mousou exists within Mousou, and Mousou is product of the human mind; Humanly desire for the better may also be reflected in
the land of Gensokyo. As Gensokyo is the land of Mousou, and the Mousou and natural desire for painlessness, a Utopia, it has thus become
so a reality within Gensokyo, as it is the land where Mousou gains groundhold within reality. Thus Gensokyo unconditionally maintains the status
of Utopia. However within its nature the eye of the manly world is still open. It displays itself within the realm of intercommunication between the
inhabitants of mousou. These two properties, Utopia and Humanly sins, could not exist within our world, but because it is the land of mousou,
a land unbounded by logic, somehow they have managed to coexist. It is so that the humanly sins could be seen from cutouts of experiences in
gensokyo, but however the place retains a feeling of Utopia, while genuinely being so.
Humans are such fools. They have eaten the forbidden apple and dispelled themselves from Eden and the graces of God, of all that is above our
paramount reality. They had dispelled mousou from their lands and engaged in their sinful acts. They had created Sodom with their own hands.
Yet Mousou still shines into our humanly world, providing refreshment in the stormy skies of Sodom. Such is art, such is writing. However, due to
the nature of our manly world being manly, sinful, and none else, it is impossible now then to capture a full picture even with the best of our efforts
of the land of Mousou. We had dispelled the gods from our language, rendering them nothing more than gibberish.
It is so, that in a miraculous delicateness of the simutaneous functioning of both worlds, that the realms had been separated physically.
Never again mousou would appear in our world. Never again a humanly thing appears in the land of mousou. All that who have wandered into
the land of mousou even becomes pure themselves as they become purified of their humanly matters in the warmth of Utopia.
Utopia becomes more crystalline by being so, our spoiled world becomes even more sinful each day as the result of the physical separation of
mousou. Jesus was seen! He was alive, he was real until we expelled him from our lands, sent him afloat on the rumbling sea of human mind
into the forgotten corners of mousou. No longer the land of mousou may purify our sins; No longer we may set foot into an holy mountain housing
gods and youkai.
Such is very sad indeed.
