Obviously I asked here that could he draw more in summer holiday, And I have cleared out the price of each sprites. And he answered affirmative actively and positively.

And I said that I wanted to add one more character here, he answered affirmative without hesitate.

And we had counted that how much characters he would have to draw, he did not look like that he had any problem with it.

After a while, and suddenly, He came to me and said that he didn't want to do the work since a very long time ago.?
He answered affirmative to all my previous request without hesitation, and based on that I think the problem is that he didn't think of the consequences of his brainless acception.
And for some reason I don't know why he asked me about have I think about how many effort it would take for the artist to do it when writing the script, it's really weird.

I think it's a very common knowledge that drawing sprites just includes the expressions and sets of outfit and they do take a lot of effort and time. And he did answered yes without hesitation when I said the price of 150 per character. But now he suddenly came to me and said something like he's not getting paid equally to his work.
May I say that he's just here for the money and?nothing else?
The last phrase of him is very laughable too, I can't say nothing else than that as the one who's paying, I of course-ly want to pay as less as possible. He answered affirmative to my price without hesitate, how can he fault on me with that?

My opinion is that the reason he said that "you must have communicated with some other artists" is because that he think I paid him less than other artists.

He knew that he's being unreasonable, but kept going on with it with knowing that.

This is my conclusion:
After he knew that he doesn't have the moral highground, and he knew that I publically shown the drama of the first artist too.
He started to realize that I would publically show the debate between me and him too, so he started to say something like he wasn't debating with me for money.
But he just previously said that "I'm drawing with the effort that can't be balanced with 150 per character" and "why would you think that I would accept the price of 150 per character?"

This chatlog was before the debate, and this was his first time mentioning about price/payment. It was 120 and obviously below 150 which was the price I gave after

This is my explanation to what he's trying to say:
I always think that I'm doing at least a fine job, So the strategy I use for communicating with artist is to never actively mention up the price and show as much about the project as I could before the artist does. So I could have more possiblity to lure the artist's interest and hopefully the artist won't be too harsh on the price and to be more likely to help on some other parts.
Plus that I said that as the one who's paying, of course I would like to pay less as possible, I'm not some pampered rich kid, I don't have so much money to randomly spend.

The first time I had DMed him, I had only a request of 4 sprites because the one thing I wanted to do was to fill up the pothole.
My Ideal price was 150 per character, but of course I could pay more by asking some money from my family. And I didn't say anything like I don't have much money or such, if he think I do then let him show the chatlog of me saying that

And about the "it's only 40", he was saying something like "v我40紅包"
And the word 紅包 in chinese mostly and likely only means something like "gift money"
Which was a sort of?gift, but not a sort of payment. And he didn't continue asking for it but only for this time. so that obviously makes it a sort of gift instead of payment.

Extremely self centered. I never express out anything showing the made-up point of I don't have much money, he thought that I don't have money himself, and didn't charge me, and suddenly he now came and accuse me for it, just because his own dillusions.

And you can see in the last few sentences, he doesn't receive much gift money himself, so he thinks that everybody don't, extremely self centered. Just watch my last sentence.

I said all the reason why that I don't actively mention up money above.

Two simple sentences for him, half-a-year project development delay for me.

At the earliest?time which was when I first DM him, I only had a request and need for 4 sprites because I had it for emergency to fill up the gaphole.
And I did talk about why I don't actively mention about price, and he just didn't talk about it either, it's very uncommon and even a situation that should not happen. So I did think that he might was going to do volunteer. Especially for that he said a sentnece of "I'm gladly to help you" in?bilibili DM

And after he finished the first one, he said "cash me 120 bucks(CNY)", I had only knew that he wasn't doing volunteer by then. And after some talking, and for some reason, he was taken away by his dillusional thoughts of "I don't have any money", and he didn't charge me anymore else than a 40 bucks(CNY) red packet(gift money).
I don't think that should been seen as payment for the sprites. And not charging for those 4 sprites is what he said randomly.

And after a while, I was tired of searching an capable artist, and asked him if he could do the rest of the work, 150 per character, dont have to worry about time. And he answered affirmative without hesitate.

I changed the structure of the story after a while, and needed to add one more character and I talked about it with him, and he answered affirmative without hesitation again.
I was still even concerning about he might have problem with it when counting how many characters he would have to draw, but he still hadn't say anything about it.

Then after a time, he suddenly came to me and said that he didn't want to do the work since very long ago, which was really random and weird, and was the start of our debate.
I think I obviously and clearly have the moral highground here.
?I even think that he was only there for more money, because I did say that there's no requirement on the time.

All in all, it's very very irresponsible of what he did. He answered affirmative to all my previous request without hesitation, not thinking of the consequences and caused everything on his own, but weirdly accused me for it with weird reasons too. He even tried to accuse me with not thinking of how many?work would there be for the artist when writing the script.

Answered to my price without hesitation too, but suddenly came to argue about money after then. And after a long debate around money, you suddenly claimed that you were not there debating for more money after realizing you were not on the moral highground.

I said that time wasn't a problem, and never had urged you up. So what were he worrying about? Was he really not there debating just for more money?

And even money wasn't his aim, did he think about the consequences he would bring me for leaving suddenly? Does he know that how many weakpoints are there in all his statements?

And he's extremely selfish and self-centered, you can see that above when we were debating about the gift money part. He thinks everybody's situation is just as the same as him. And he adds his own dillusion on people.

I don't think I have any one bit of fault here, I'm a plain victim.

【W(wǎng)hat and how much effect did this do to me and my project】
First thing first, Art/Sprites/Artist is a crucially important part of a visual novel game.
Because, at least to we creators who chases quality, we need to keep the artstyle the same.
If the artist ran away suddenly, then the only reason for us to not delete and replace everything they have draw is that we could magically and extremely quickly find an artist who can imitate their artstyle to at least 90%.

And we getting back:
H_akea is the second artist I met that is unresponsible. And what makes me more angry is that he knew the thing about the first artist.
These people don't and never realize how many effect they will do to the creator and the project by their bold and irresponsible doings of leaving.
His leave put my project in a exceedingly low-efficient state from January till now, and this low efficient of state will keep troubling me and my project for months.
Because I have to wait for the new artist to renew the sprites he had draw me, because I have to keep the artstyle in one style.
All of this is for two simple sentence of "I regret it" and "I'm leaving"
