Not worth it? Chinese resellers cut iPhoneprices after Apple bombshell warning

China-based retailers have rolled out hugediscounts on Apple phones, including the latest iPhone XR model. The generous offeringcomes after the US giant had to issue a rare gloomy revenue forecast for itssales in the country.

中國零售商開始打折銷售蘋果手機，包括最新的蘋果XR。在此之前，蘋果這家巨頭公司罕見地對其在中國的銷量進行了悲觀的預測。

Beijing-based Jd.com cut the prices toalmost the same level as Suning, allowing iPhone-hungry buyers to get XRwith128 storage at 6099 yuan ($899). However, the model, alongside its cheaperversion with lower capacity, was out of stock on the platform as Fridayafternoon.

On Thursday, Yahoo Finance reported thatthe Silicon Valley tech giant slashed the price of the iPhone XR for partnersellers in China by about $100 in an attempt to boost sales.
