as 引導限定性定語從句時（沒有逗號隔開），指與先行詞相似的人或物。

1). 用于 the same...as...結構中，例如：

This is the same bag as I lost yesterday.

This is the same book as I bought last week．

This is the same material as is used in building the bridge．

2). 用于 such...as...結構中，例如：

He’s not such a fool as he looks.

I never heard such stories as he tells．

He was in such a hurry as I've never seen．?

3). 用于 so/as...as...結構中，例如：

I'm not so strong a man as I was．

You can buy as many books as you want in this store.

Some people believe that their cat understands as many words as a dog does．

1. the same A as B 與 the same A that B 的區(qū)別：

the same A as B：A和B同類

the same A that B：A=B

This is the same book as I lost last week.

這本書跟我上周丟的那本是一樣的（兩本一樣的書）。??

This is the same book that I lost last week．

這是我上周丟的那本書。 （一本書）

She wore the same dress as her young sister wore.

她穿著和她妹妹一樣的裙子（兩條一樣的裙子）。?

She wore the same dress that she wore at Mary’s wedding.?

她穿著她在Mary婚禮上穿過的那條裙子（一條裙子）。

2. 定語從句such...as...與結果狀語從句such...that...的區(qū)別：

as在從句中作主、賓語；that在從句中不做成分。

He has such a good laptop as I want to buy. (as作buy的賓語）

He has such a good laptop that I want to buy one. (that不作成分)

She is such a good girl as everyone likes. (as作likes的賓語)

He is such a good boy that everyone likes him. (that不作成分)
