一、

我們的生命不僅是我們自己的

Our lives are not our own.

從子宮到墳?zāi)?我們和其他人緊緊相連

From womb to tomb,we are bound to others.

無論前世還是今生

Past and present.

每一樁惡行

And by each crime…

每一項(xiàng)善舉

and every kindness…

都在未來輪回

rebirth our future.

二、

我絕不會(huì)向暴力犯罪屈服

I will not be subjugated to criminal abuse.

三、

我現(xiàn)在理解了噪音和聲音之間的界線只是陳規(guī)

I understand now,that boundaries between noise and sound are conventions.

所有的界線都是陳規(guī) 等著被打破

All boundaries are conventions,waiting to be transcended.

一個(gè)人可以打破任何常規(guī)

One may trandcend any convention,

只要這個(gè)人能首先想到這么做

if only one can first conceive of doing so.

四、

被看到才能稱之為存在

To be is to be perceived.

因此只有通過別人的眼睛才能了解我們自己

And so to know thyself is only possible through the eyes of the other.

我們生命的不朽本質(zhì)在于

The nature of our immortal lives

我們的言語和行為的后果

is in the consequences of our words and deeds,

它們不斷地自我推動(dòng)

that go on and are pushing themselves throughout all time.
