great initiative to reach out.??I really hope the women's trader academy application goes well, a lot of global markets division interns are persons who did the trader academy so it's a fantastic introduction to the job. It is hard for me to give application advice as it's selected by HR, but thinking about why you're genuinely interested in becoming a trader and what motivates you passion for financial markets is a good place to start.??As far as skills for trading, it's inevitably a very analytical role. Staying up to date with news developments and current affairs is important, but the most important piece of advice is to ensure you take a view and analyse what you read critically (e.g. don't just describe the current polls in the US presidential election, explain what you think the outcome will be and why). As a trader or analyst in general you add value by interpreting information not by summarizing what others have presented.??

事實(shí)上，我認(rèn)為大多數(shù)人都喜歡談?wù)撟约?。所以，在coffee chat的時(shí)候可以適當(dāng)拋出話題，讓對(duì)方有時(shí)間講述自己的人生/職業(yè)故事和經(jīng)驗(yàn)，加深彼此認(rèn)識(shí)。

但是coffee chat的經(jīng)歷偶爾也會(huì)出現(xiàn)和期望中的不一樣的情況。我就遇到過(guò)當(dāng)提出問題后，對(duì)方說(shuō)feel uncomfortable?的情況。我當(dāng)時(shí)是感覺很難過(guò)，然后領(lǐng)英上寫了一大段的文字回復(fù)對(duì)方。后來(lái)過(guò)了很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間，我再來(lái)復(fù)盤的時(shí)候認(rèn)為遇到此類情況，還是只是說(shuō)感謝的話就好。畢竟大家只是萍水相逢，沒有必要再引發(fā)矛盾。
