1) “專心”是一種勇氣,敢于決定真正該做和真正先做的工作。
Concentration?that is , the courage to impose on?time and events his own
decision as to what?really matters and comes first.
2) 有效的管理者不做太多的決策。他們所做的,都是重大的決策。
Effective executives do not?make a great many decisions.
They concentrate on the?important ones.
3) 有效的管理者都知道一項決策不是從搜集事實開始的,而是先有自己的見解。
People do not start out with the search for facts , they?start out with an
opinion.
4) 要看“正當(dāng)?shù)臎Q策”是什么,而不是“人能接受的”是什么。
One has to start ?out ?with what is right than what ?is acceptable.
5) 管理者,就必須卓有成效。
To??be effective , is the job of the executive.

They concentrate their own time and energy as?well as that of their
organization?on doing one thing?at a time , and on doing first things first.
10)有效的管理者打算做一項新的業(yè)務(wù),一定先刪除一項原有的業(yè)務(wù)。
The effective executive will slough off an old activity before he starts on a new one.
