環(huán)巴胺(Cyclopamine)從藜蘆屬植物內(nèi)分離得到的一種異甾體類生物堿,主要存在百合科植物中北美山藜蘆(Veratrum californicum)、印第安鹿食草(Corn lily)及毛葉藜蘆(Veratrum grandiflorum)、伊貝(Fritillaria pallidiflora Schrenk)四種植物。

環(huán)巴胺對Hedgehog信號通路有抑制作用,在抗腫瘤方面表現(xiàn)出良好的活性。研究表明,環(huán)巴胺可以對Hedgehog信號通路的激活起到抑制作用,而后者參與原癌基因?Smoothened (Smo)?或滅活腫瘤抑制基因?Patched (Ptch)?的突變相關反應途徑,并且這兩種基因都能夠編碼多程跨膜蛋白。此外,已經(jīng)證明環(huán)巴胺的抑制作用是由于其與Smo七螺旋蛋白束的直接結合有關。
