There are numerous translation errors, such as the misconception that lycanthropy is contagious, Tamara and the baron's men drinking alcohol, and Dijkstra owning the crown of Novigrad (the object worn by the king, not the currency "crowns"), which are extremely basic errors that are found throughout the game.

These mistakes greatly affect the Chinese players' gaming experience, making it worse rather than better. Mr. Ma, the head of the Chinese localization team, has updated some of the dubbing and text with my assistance, but there are still many errors in the game translation. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of dubbing, many of the errors cannot be corrected even though they are known.

It is regrettable that these simple subtitle errors could have been fixed with a simple patch when there was no Chinese dubbing. However, the decision to use local dubbing has almost completely eliminated the possibility of correcting these mistakes.
