CHINESE PEOPLE ARE SO HARDWORKING IS BASEDON THEIR CULTURE ROOT !
Many American people complain that Chineseimmigrants are so hard working. hey can spend more time on working. Someprejudice raise , because some US citizen consider their hard working as a kindof malicious competition which cause they losing job.
In fact, hard working is our Chinese virtueand belief. Our ancients lived in agricultural society; they taught us onlyhard working , and you can gain your food. My grandparents are peasants, andthey still work in the farm in their old age. After fall harvest, they willshare their fruits and vegetable to their family members and friends.
As the society change from agriculturalsociety to industrial society. People have more competition to gain a qualitylife. The definition of quality is different between China and American. InChina, you have a nice house (water, gas, energy, internet is available), acar, and a bachelor degrees. You are in a advantage status comparing to manypeople. In US, this is a common phenomenon to have car and house.
By the way, everyone wants to have a betterfuture. Hard working is a kind of belief that can help to achieve our goals.

Chinese has strong ego compared to otherrace.
Chinese measure success through wealth andknowledge, thus they were cultivate with the mindset since young. To achievegreat wealth and knowledge, they must work hard to get reap their fruits.
Chinese would look down their own race ifthey are poor, thus this culture has creates the internal competition amongthemselves.
Internal competition and ego make themwilling to sacrifice to be success.

My two cents:
The Chinese have had a tough history inChina, with wars and famine and everything. This I believe has built into us anatural competitive streak. Then some of them decided to move elsewhere, moreso especially around the time of the first and second world wars. My greatgrandparents and grandparents moved to South East asi in search of a “betterlife” outside of China.
Whenever the Chinese move to a new land, wegenerally try to create value and make life more pleasant. So we work hard.Plant trees, create businesses, work in accounting, whatever.
However, there are a few not-too-pleasantflip sides to this coin.
Because of our competitive andmaterialistic nature, if you see any new multi-level marketing fad mushroomingwhere I live, legal or otherwise, it is usually the Chinese who are there firstin droves.
Once the Chinese settle into the adoptedcountry for two or more generations and get comfortable though, we might not beas hardworking as our cousins back in China. I used to have an English salescoach. One day, several years back, he remarked that the general workingattitude of the Chinese in my country cannot compare to that of theShanghainese. If he told them that training starts at 9 AM, the Shanghaineseare there at 8. We on the other hand, trickle into class at 9:30. If he teachesthem a new sales technique, the Shanghainese wouldn’t even wait for a secondtechnique. They’d be aching to get back out on the street to test out thetechnique just taught. We on the other hand, might be keeping all thetechniques taught in our heads as if they could grow with interest. I asked himwhat is the reason for this difference, judging from the fact that it isChinese people on both sides. And I quote him verbatim: “Because you guys havebeen ‘diluted.’”

What are you talking about? Those peoplewho think that way probably have never gone out of Vietnam to meet real Chinesebut instead imagine what they are like using stereotypes from thousands ofyears ago
Some Vietnamese stereotypes about Chinesethat are wrong.

There is a small town on the south coast ofAlaska called Homer.
Except for summers, normally the town isdead after 5:00 pm everyday. After 5:00 pm, almost all shops, supermarkets andrestaurants will be closed, except for a Vietnamese restaurant. This restaurantopens from 9:00 am to 23:00 pm, 7 days a week. Thanks to this restaurant, Ididn't have to go to bed with an empty stomach.
