杜小東先生曾擔(dān)任廣東省信用擔(dān)保協(xié)會(huì)、廣東省經(jīng)濟(jì)和信息化委員會(huì)，廣東省中小企業(yè)局主任科員，中國(guó)擔(dān)保協(xié)會(huì)執(zhí)行秘書長(zhǎng)，中國(guó)投資擔(dān)保專家委員會(huì)委員，中國(guó)金融辦工作協(xié)會(huì)秘書長(zhǎng)、國(guó)家金融人才國(guó)際發(fā)展課題領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組秘書處辦公室主任。
