Jill:
Jill: Any particular reason you asked me about that event?
?
Sei: Not really. I just found the fact that I was the only other White Knight you've served... weird.
?
Sei:
Sei: I mean... really? Just two?
?
Jill:
Jill: Weird, I know.
?
Jill:
Jill: I've spent most of my life with almost no interactions with White Knights until I met you.
?
Sei:
Sei: Means you've had a nice life then!
?
Sei:……
Sei: ...that sounded creepier than I thought.
?
Jill:
Jill: A bit, yeah.
?
Jill!
Sei: Well, I'm done for today. Thanks, Jill!
?
Jill:
Jill: Please come again.
?
Jill: I'll go take my break, Gil.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: Sure.

Jill:
Jill: Okay, I'm he-...
?
Dorothy:……
Dorothy: ...
?
Jill:呃…… Dorothy……
Jill: Um... Dorothy...
?
Dorothy:……
Dorothy: ...

Jill: You won't get through the bar anytime soon. You can stop walking.
?
Dorothy:……?
Dorothy: ...?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Ah, honey...
?
Jill:
Jill: You want something?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: The usual, I guess...
?
Dorothy:老……樣……子……樣……子……
Dorothy: Usual... us... ual... usu... al...
?【Blue Fairy/Brandtini/Fluffy Dream/Moon Blast/Sparkle Star/Sunshine Cloud/Mulan Tea,
Jill:
Jill: Here you go...
?
Dorothy:……
Dorothy: ...
?【Piano Woman/Sugar Rush】
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: This is nice!
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Nice... nnn-ice...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: N-ice?

Jill:
Jill: Here you go.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Ugh! This is bad.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Bad? But why? Hm...
?
Jill:
Jill: Okay, you're freaking me out. What's up with you?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Hey, honey. How do you know what's real?
?
Jill:
Jill: How so?
?
Dorothy: I mean, how do you know if what you see is an actual thing?
?
Dorothy: How can you tell if what you see around you is actually happening?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What tells you everything is not actually a fabrication?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What tells me I'm not just a simulation in a computer?
?
Jill: And those ponderings brought you to the bar?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What? Oh, I'm in the bar.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Am I?
?
Jill:Dorothy……
Jill: Dorothy...
?
Dorothy:……
Dorothy: ...
?
Jill: So you're having a solipsistic crisis of sorts?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Solipwhat?
?
Jill: Solipsism. The theory that the self is the only thing that can be known to exist.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: See? That's another thing right there. That word.
?
Dorothy: "Solipsism". What does it even mean? Where the hell did it come from?!
?
Jill: Well, Solus means alone and Ipse means self.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Yes, but how did it come to be?
?
Dorothy: Do you expect me to believe that a lot of people just randomly decided to make noises...
?
Dorothy: And decide "Hey, let's make this noise mean this!"
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: It doesn't make sense! Words don't make sense!
?
Dorothy: I've been repeating words for a long time and they've stopped making sense! Why?!
?
Jill:
Jill: Calm down. That's just semantic satiation.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Stop making up words, honey!
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: And then there's this counter. How can I be sure the counter is really here?
?
Jill:
Jill: It is. Please stop tapping it.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Hold on, just making sure...
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Jill: Stop tapping the counter so much! I'm *this* close to throwing this at your face.

Dorothy:
Dorothy: Sorry...
?
Jill: *sigh* So let's start from the beginning. Since when did you have this... existential crisis?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Since earlier today, I think.
Dorothy: I was remembering the good times I had with mo-... with my guardian.

Dorothy:
Dorothy: But I don't know. It was all too sudden.
?
Dorothy: I was thinking about everything that happened from a week ago until now...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: How much fun I was having, how much I loved everyone around me.
?
Dorothy: And out of nowhere the thoughts started piling up in my mind.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What is love? What is fun?
?
Dorothy: Are those feelings real? Is all of that real? Am I real?
?
Dorothy: What tells me I'm actually in a body? What if I'm just some computer somewhere thinking it has a body?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What if I'm just a human girl in a comatose dream?
?
Jill:
Jill: What tells ME that you're real?
?
Dorothy:誒?
Dorothy: Eh?
?
Jill: For all I know, I might just be a figment of someone's imagination.

Jill: Or even just an AI simulation in some computer that thinks it's a human.
?
Dorothy:……
Dorothy: ...
?
Jill: I've been there, Dorothy.
?
Jill: That... existential doubt and crisis. That uncertainty about whether or not things are real.
?
Jill: It was a couple of months only but...
?
Jill: I remember having panic attacks and scratching my arm to *feel* something.
?
Jill: But the panic attack gave me a rush of adrenaline, so I couldn't feel the scratch and the fear got worse.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What did you do to get over it?
?
Jill:
Jill: Oddly enough... I read a book.
?
Jill: "The Last Rain in the World." One of my favorites.
?
Jill: At one point I cried with the book and I realized...
?
Jill: I was crying over "fake" things. A story and its characters.
?
Jill: I didn't care less for them because they were fake. Why not think of "reality" like that too?
?
Jill: Even if I'm a figment of someone's imagination, I'd still care about you.

Jill:……
Jill: ...that's what I told myself, at least. It wasn't immediate, but that focus helped me.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Heh, I like it.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Hey, can I take this drink?
?
Jill: I made it for you.
?
Dorothy: 那好……
Dorothy: Thanks! Okay then...
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Dorothy:呼……
Dorothy: Phew...

Jill:
Jill: Why did you... throw it on your head?
?
Dorothy: To feel something you made!
?
Jill:
Jill: And?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: It burns... and itches a bit.
?
Jill:
Jill: I'll get you a towel.
?
???: Delivery for... Dana Za-... oh, I've been here before.
?
Jill:Mario
Jill: Mister Mario, welcome back.
?
Mario: I have a delivery for Dana Zane. Who's that?
?
Jill:
Jill: She's my boss. I'll get it for her.
?
Mario:
Mario: Right. Sign here, please.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: It's a big package.
?
Jill:
Jill: I wonder what's inside.
?
Mario: You should open it. If it's something perishable, maybe it'll need to be refrigerated.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: Let's see...
?
Gillian:
Gillian: It's... a wiener.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: A really big wiener.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Dorothy:……!
Dorothy: ...!
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Hey honey...
?
Jill:
Jill: Hm?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: The big package had a big wiener inside.
?
Jill:*噗*
Jill: *pfft*
?
Mario:
Mario: What will your boss do with such a thing?
?
Gillian:
Gillian: I don't how she'll cook it. Perhaps she'll chop it?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Honey~
?
Dorothy: Seems the wiener is too big to eat correctly.
?
Jill:
Jill: St-t-t-t-t-top...
?
Dorothy: Maybe you could prepare some right now?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: What do you say, honey? Do you want some of your boss' wiener?
?
Jill:
Jill: I dohohohoohoho...
?
Jill:*噗*
Jill: *pfffffft*

Gillian:…… Jill?
Gillian: ...seriously, Jill?
?
Jill:
Jill: She's the oahahahahahahahane making the jokes.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: And you're the one trying not to laugh too hard at them.
?
Gillian: Anyway, we all know if we dare cook this without her permission, she'll hang us upside down.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: She'll hang ME upside down.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Hey jacket boy, what's your name?
?
Mario:我叫……Mario。
Mario: I'm... Mario.

Dorothy: Come on, Mario. I'll buy you a drink.
?
Mario:
Mario: Hm...
?
Jill:
Jill: He might have another delivery, you know?
?
Mario:
Mario: This is the last one, actually. I'll accept your offer.
Mario: I'll have a Sunshine Cloud.
?
Jill:
Jill: And you?
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: I'm fine.
?【Sunshine Cloud】
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: Thanks.

Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: This is not what I...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Too much laughter, honey?
Sunshine Clo—……
Mario: I'll have a... um... a Sunshine Clo-...
?
Jill:
Jill: Sorry, what?
?
Dorothy: I think he said Sunshine Cloud.
?
Mario: Did not! A Marsblast.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Jill:
Jill: And you?
?
Dorothy: I'm fine, I'm fine.
【Marsblast,
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: Right...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: You should be more honest.
?【Sunshine Cloud,
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: This is not what I...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: It totally is.
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: This is not what I...
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Too much laughter, honey?
?
Mario:
Mario: Hey, um...
?
Dorothy: Call me Dorothy. You can also call me darling for the right amount.
?
Mario: Yeah, Dorothy. Why did you buy me a drink?
?
Mario:
Mario: Just to let you know, I don't swing that way.
Lilim?
Dorothy: What way? Lilim?
?
Mario:
Mario: I'm a man's man! I like men, okay?
?
Mario:
Mario: Not that there's anything wrong with liking women but...
?
Dorothy: Oh, don't worry. I wasn't hitting on you, I was thanking you.
?
Mario:
Mario: Thanking me?
?
Dorothy: Your package let me see honey here laughing like an idiot.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: It's easier than you think.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Dorothy: That made me happy and... I dunno, it fit with what she was telling me earlier.
?
Dorothy: I'm more calm than when I entered.
?
Mario:……?
Mario: ...? Glad to help, I guess.
?
Dorothy:
Dorothy: Well, duty calls.
?
Dorothy: Bye Mario, bye John, bye honey. Enjoy your big wiener~
?
Jill:
Jill: Out with you.
?
Mario:
Mario: She seems like a nice girl.
?
Mario:
Mario: I don't mean for it to sound like I...
?
Jill:
Jill: I get it, I get it. Don't worry, you like guys. It's clear.
?
Jill:
Jill: Speaking of, you like motorcycles, don't you?
?
Mario:
Mario: I do, yeah.
?
Jill: Have you been to the motor district?
?
Mario: I spend all of my free time in the motor district, actually. Why?
?
Jill:
Jill: Is it true what they say about all the illegal races going on there?
?
Mario:
Mario: You're not a cop, are you?
?
Jill: As far as I remember, no.
?
Mario:……
Mario: ...
?
Mario: Well, I mean, there ARE illegal races. But there's also a semi-legal league going on there.
?
Jill:
Jill: Semi-legal?
?
Mario:
Mario: The authorities acknowledge that there's races going on.
?
Mario: They don't know what goes on in them, however.
?
Mario:
Mario: Modified engines, casualties, substance abuse...
?
Mario:
Mario: The illegal ones end up being safer in the end.
?
Jill:唔……
Jill: Huh...
?
Jill: Have you heard about a biker called Christine Love?
?
Mario:Love
Mario: Ms. Love, of course. Everyone knows who she is. What about her?
?
Jill:
Jill: Is her gang as dangerous as they say?
?
Mario:
Mario: I don't know. Nobody knows.
?
Jill:
Jill: Excuse me?
?
Mario: They look intimidating enough, but truth is that nobody has faced them directly.
?
Mario: Moreover, nobody wants to be the one that got beaten to a pulp if they turn out to be what they seem.
?
Mario: So her gang is just... there. Menacingly doing their own thing. Not bothering anyone.
Jill:哦。
Jill: Oh.
?
Jill:
Jill: Do you want anything else?
?
Mario:我要一杯Piano Man。
Mario: I'll have a Piano Man.
?
Jill:好的。
Jill: Alright.
?【Piano Man,無小費】
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: Yeah, this is nice.
?【Piano Woman,
Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: It's wrong but... I like this one better.

Jill:請用。
Jill: Here.
?
Mario:
Mario: It's wrong, you know? Oh, whatever.
Mario:
Mario: This will sound weird but... do you believe in replibots?
?
Jill:
Jill: Replibots?
?
Gillian: There's the belief that some Lilim out there are designed to perfectly replicate a particular human.
?
Gillian: That someone or something replaces those humans with such Lilim.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: Thus they call them Replibots.
?
Jill:
Jill: You know a lot about this.
?
Gillian: I don't, it's in most magazines nowadays.
?
Jill:
Jill: Well, it's the first time I've heard of it.
?
Jill:
Jill: What about it?
?
Mario: On my way here, I almost ran over my neighbor. He just showed up in the middle of the street.
?
Mario:
Mario: And I say almost because he moved really quickly out of the way.
?
Mario: Then I went to deliver a package and somehow, my neighbor was there! Almost immediately after the whole thing.
?
Mario:
Mario: And he was there the whole time!
?
Jill:
Jill: Maybe it was someone that looked like him?
?
Mario:
Mario: He had the same looks, clothes, and mannerisms.
?
Mario:
Mario: Trust me, you know a perfect replica when you see one.
?
Mario: And you saw the kid Lilim here! They could easily pass off as humans!

Mario: There are even Lilim idol singers nowadays whose voices can pass off as human!

Mario: They could be passing off as humans under our very own noses! Replacing us little by little!
?
Jill:
Jill: At this point in time? I really doubt it.
?
Jill: Lilim behavior is a bit different. You can easily tell someone's a Lilim because they seem...
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...how do I put this?
?
Jill: They don't care about risk and danger as much as we do. They treat risks with a lot more leniency.
?
Mario:
Mario: Still, be careful. Keep an eye out for uncanny doppelgangers.
?
Mario:
Mario: I'm leaving. Thanks for everything.
?
Jill:
Jill: Please come again.
?
Gillian: What's your take on the replibot thing? Do you believe in them?
?
Jill:
Jill: Do you?
?
Gillian:
Gillian: Not really, but I asked you first.
?
Jill: When I was in high school, I had this... irrational fear of aliens.
?
Jill: I was paranoid that they would come. What would I do then?
?
Jill:
Jill: I remember I lost lots of sleep because of it.
?
Gillian:
Gillian: That... doesn't answer my question.
?
Jill:
Jill: Let me finish.
?
Jill: After many months of fear, I reached a conclusion that might as well apply here.
?
Jill:
Jill: It's useless to be afraid.
?
Jill: I'm but a simple woman. I wouldn't be able to do shit against them.
?
Jill:
Jill: So I'd rather live without being afraid.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...because the memories of not being afraid will be my only solace when the Nevulai Crabs invade.
?
Jill:
Jill: Err, I mean. When the replibots come.
?
Gillian:……
Gillian: ...
?
Gillian:……Jill,
Gillian: ...Jill, are you still afraid of aliens?
?
Jill: What part of "it's useless to be afraid" didn't you catch?
?
Gillian:……算了。
Gillian: ...right.
Mario:
Mario: Hey, you two an item?
?
Gillian:
Gillian: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Gil?
Jill: What are you trying to say with that laughter, Gil?
?
Jill:
Jill: No, we're not.
?
Mario:
Mario: What's wrong with you?!
?
Jill:
Jill: E-Eh?!
?
Mario:
Mario: You work with this hunk of a man and you don't feel the least bit tempted?
?
Mario: How can you be so calm with his smell so close to you?!
?
Jill: Ever heard the expression "his past is a f?【屏~蔽~_(:з」∠)_】??cking weight I don't wanna carry"?
?
Jill:
Jill: Because his past is a fuc?【屏~蔽~_(:з」∠)_】??ing weight I don't wanna carry.
?
Jill: If he even has a past at all. I'm having my doubts lately.
?
Mario:
Mario: Are you implying he's not good game?
?
Jill: Oh, don't misunderstand. Gil IS good game.
?
Jill:
Jill: He's not bad looking, he's a gentleman, he's always attentive.
?
Jill: But he's also distant and will take many steps back when he feels like he's getting close to somebody.
?
Mario: You don't have to marry him, just push into a closet, and...
?
Jill:
Jill: Eh... not interested.
?
Mario: You annoy me, bartender. You don't see what you have right in front of you.
?
Mario:
Mario: I'm out!
?
Jill:
Jill: Please come again.
?
Jill:……
Jill: ...
?
Jill: Ah, Gil, you heartbreaking fu?【屏~蔽~_(:з」∠)_】??kboy.

Gillian:……
Gillian: ...
?
Dana: Back. Did anything happen?
?
Jill:
Jill: I discovered I have the sense of humor of an 8 year old.
?
Dana: Did anything NEW happen?
?
Jill:
Jill: Hey!
?
Gillian:
Gillian: They brought you a package.
?
Dana:
Dana: Ah, yes! My curated wiener.
?
Dana: It's a gift from my folks. It was delayed in customs, but here it is.
?
Dana:
Dana: You guys want some of it?
?
?/span>
Jill: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
?
Dana:
Dana: That's a new one...

So you're having a solipsistic crisis of sorts?

為什么?!?I've been repeating words for a long time and they've stopped making sense! Why?!
Calm down. That's just semantic satiation.
