Red Bull junior driver Liam Lawson got his DTM campaign off to the best possible start by winning his maiden race in the series with the AF Corse Ferrari. Becoming the youngest-ever race winner in the series’ history, he was the Star on Saturday at Monza.?

Liam, it is the ninth time already in your career that you win your first race in a series you start competing in. This year, you did it already in F2, and now in DTM as well. What is your secret?

DTM：連姆，這已經(jīng)是你生涯至今第九次，在你首次參加某項比賽時就拿下冠軍。今年的F2是如此，現(xiàn)在DTM亦如此，你的秘訣是什么？

Liam Lawson: “I don’t have a secret for this. I think it is just good preparation to start the series strong. Testing was positive for us and we knew that qualifying wasn’t our proper pace. In the race, we had a good strategy. I just had to drive the car, make no mistakes, and the rest was lined up with the pit stop and the strategy.”

連姆：我可沒什么秘訣~我覺得不過就是為開賽做足準(zhǔn)備。我們對測試的結(jié)果很滿意，也清楚至少排位賽并不能體現(xiàn)我們的真實速度。我們比賽中的策略也很完美，進(jìn)站時機(jī)恰到好處。我只需要好好駕駛這輛車，不犯錯，其余的也就是順理成章的事了。

After this success, whom did you speak to on the telephone first? The family in New Zealand, where it was in the middle of the night, obviously, or did Dr. Marko call you for instance?

DTM：你在奪冠后有給誰打電話報喜么？是你在新西蘭熬夜看比賽的家人？還是說馬爾科博士有立刻聯(lián)系你？

Liam Lawson: “The first person I spoke to was my coach, he is usually the first person I speak to after races. Then my parents… I don’t quite remember, to be honest. I spoke with the team, of course, I celebrated with the team. It is a big moment for them as well, as it was for all of us. To win in Italy with a Ferrari is pretty special!”

連姆：我打給了我的教練，我通常會在賽后第一時間聯(lián)系他。然后是我父母…不過老實講我有點記不清了。當(dāng)然啦，我和車隊一起慶祝，一起回顧了比賽。這對我們所有人來說，都是個意義非凡的時刻——我們可是代表法拉利在蒙扎奪冠?。?/p>
