Teacher and student

?*Teacher is the ONLY word that covers almost all types of learning situations. We do have more specific words can use in different situations like an ‘instructor’, a ‘mentor’, or a ‘coach’, or a ‘trainer’, but we don’t really have an all-purpose general word like “teacher”

?The same with “student”, we don’t really have one word that covers everything. We have one that is pretty close. That would be ‘learner’. You can replace ‘student’ with learner in almost every situation.

You might see words like ‘trainee’ or ‘a(chǎn)pprentice’, they are words again for specific learning situations.

Really just stay with “Teacher and student”.?Those two words generally don’t have words that you can always replace, except for maybe ‘learner’. ?
