well this topic is something interesting that reminds me of the early decades of Tang dynasty which is a historical period I’d like to learn more about .

what draws my attention is the fact that China back in the day?was the most economically developed and militarily strongest country on the planet , however China showed her strength not in a violent but an open minded yet prestigious fashion .

when it happened can be traced approximately 1500 years ago when the west was struggling in the darkness of medieval ages while Americas were?completely occupied by the red Indians?and unknown to Europeans , by contrast in the far east China had grown to be a?super world power?.

what I know about this historical period is that China was universally thought of as the center of the world hence a great many overseas students?were sent by their governments to study abroad in Tang empire?, in the meantime quite a few Chinese ancient cities became world class metropolises which deeply influenced architectural style of other Asian cities?.

speaking of the reasons why I’d love to learn more about Tang dynasty , you know what

firstly ,

one thing that appeals to me is that back then and there , China was a melting pot of different ethnic groups from all over the globe , which seems similar to today’s US since a variety of ways of thinking or living found a way to coexist harmoniously , for instance ,.....

secondly ,

what also fascinates me may sound funny , fatness was widely accepted even?well liked?at that time , ladies who were a little bit obese were considered beautiful , if some day I could be?time travelling back to those days , I’d save the trouble of?losing weight , for example ,....
