? ? ? ??近日，央視新聞綜合節(jié)目《中國(guó)之聲》的主持人鄒韻全英采訪(fǎng)新加坡總理李顯龍，談吐優(yōu)雅，長(zhǎng)相也極具大國(guó)風(fēng)范，典雅大氣。

? ? ? ?鄒韻不像央視的很多主持人畢業(yè)于中國(guó)傳媒大學(xué)，或者科班出身，非科班出身的她卻獲得了主持人大賽總決賽的冠軍。來(lái)源于她的努力，她一直很擅長(zhǎng)英語(yǔ)，參加過(guò)很多英語(yǔ)大賽，她曾經(jīng)夢(mèng)想成為同聲傳譯，沒(méi)能實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想。

? ? ? ??后來(lái)有機(jī)會(huì)做了一名媒體人，用9年時(shí)間努力向國(guó)際傳播中國(guó)聲音。做英文記者，奔波于世界各地惡劣的新聞現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，做現(xiàn)場(chǎng)直播。2015年去劍橋大學(xué)攻讀碩士，如今已經(jīng)成功轉(zhuǎn)型為國(guó)際主持人，發(fā)揮她英語(yǔ)的優(yōu)勢(shì)，如今的她已經(jīng)越來(lái)越被大家熟知。

Well, Mr. Prime Minister, let's talk a little bit about yourself. Yes.

總理先生，讓我們談?wù)勀约喊?。好?/p>

I heard that you had great passion for mathematics. And for instance when people like me, when we take on vacation, we relax and we have fun, right? But I heard when you take on vacation, you will spend some of your vacation time to look into unsolved mathematical problems and that is depicted by some local media as “revealing the geeky side of you every now and then.”?

Back in your days in Cambridge, some professors say they thought it was a pity for you to become a politician not a mathematician because you were back then the rising star in the world of math. Mr.Prime Minister, have you ever regret about this choice and how do you think your Mastery of mathematics has influenced you in your approach of governance?

我聽(tīng)說(shuō)您對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)非常熱衷，例如像我們這樣的人，度假時(shí)會(huì)放松和享樂(lè)，對(duì)吧？但是我聽(tīng)說(shuō)您在度假時(shí)會(huì)專(zhuān)門(mén)拿出時(shí)間，去研究未解決的數(shù)學(xué)問(wèn)題，當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w描述說(shuō)“時(shí)不時(shí)地展露出您極客的一面”?；氐侥趧虻娜兆?，一些教授說(shuō)認(rèn)為您成為一名政治家而不是一名數(shù)學(xué)家很可惜，因?yàn)槟?dāng)時(shí)是數(shù)學(xué)界的一顆冉冉升起的新星?？偫硐壬?，您有沒(méi)有后悔過(guò)這個(gè)選擇呢，您認(rèn)為您對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)的精通，對(duì)您治國(guó)理政的方式有什么影響。

I don't regret. I was not a rising star, I was a promising student.?

我沒(méi)有后悔。我不是一顆冉冉興起的新星，當(dāng)時(shí)只是一個(gè)有挺有前途的學(xué)生而已。

You're very …… being modest. No

您太謙虛了。沒(méi)有啦

It's a vast field, I did two undergraduate years in mathematics, so it's just a…… barely at the foothills. I enjoyed it, I was not bad at it, but there are many more talented and brilliant mathematicians in the world than me, and um, I decided that I had a responsibility to come back to Singapore and be part of Singapore and do what I could to help the country to succeed.

數(shù)學(xué)是一個(gè)浩瀚的領(lǐng)域，我讀了2年數(shù)學(xué)本科課程，所以，我連入門(mén)都不算。我很喜歡數(shù)學(xué)，我學(xué)得還不錯(cuò)，但世界上有太多比我有天賦比我才華橫溢的數(shù)學(xué)家，我最終還是覺(jué)得我有責(zé)任回到新加坡，成為新加坡的一員，盡我所能幫助國(guó)家取得成功。

You're not only very passionate about mathematics and also…… I think you not only believe in persistence and also by keeping an open mind you also think hope sometimes is very well needed, because in your National Day rally in 2021, you quoted a song“春天里”and you even sung a little bit.

您不僅對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)非常熱衷，而且相信堅(jiān)持的力量，還保持開(kāi)放的心態(tài)，而且認(rèn)為，有時(shí)還必須保持希望，在2021年的新加坡國(guó)慶大會(huì)上，您引用了一首歌《春天里》的歌詞，您還唱了幾句。

Yes,no no I can't?

是的，但我不太會(huì)唱歌

I know, I know but you sung a little bit, like,?

我知道 但是您唱了一點(diǎn)，春天里百花香……

But you… what you really care is about the scripts at the very end right it's um, why did you decide to quote that specific line for that very special occasion. ?

但您真正在意的是歌詞的末尾部分，對(duì)吧？不用傷，前途自有風(fēng)和浪，莫彷徨，黑暗盡處有曙光。您為什么決定在那個(gè)非常特殊的場(chǎng)合引用這句歌詞呢

Because we were in COVID, we were coming out of COVID hadn't quite emerged from the tunnel yet, but there was in fact light in front of the tunnel. And I thought that was something which I should remind Singaporeans because you could see the light there, and yet it was still necessary for the government to take some measures to to keep things tight. And we could not relax our measures yet and we needed to encourage people hang on, the dawn is coming.

因?yàn)槲覀儺?dāng)時(shí)正處于新冠疫情時(shí)期，剛剛走出疫情，還沒(méi)有走出隧道，但隧道前方確有曙光。我認(rèn)為我應(yīng)該提醒新加坡民眾，我們已經(jīng)可以看到前方的曙光，但政府仍需要采取一些措施，我們還不能放松防控措施，我們需要鼓勵(lì)人們堅(jiān)持下去，黎明即將到來(lái)。

So what about now, what do you think are urgently needed at this specific timing？

那么現(xiàn)在呢？在這個(gè)特定的時(shí)刻，你認(rèn)為我們迫切需要做什么？

There are new issues in the world post COVID. And it, we are not able to take a holiday after COVID. You have to come back and the term has started again, we work again.

在后疫情時(shí)代，世界上有新的問(wèn)題出現(xiàn)，疫情之后，我們也無(wú)法松懈。你必須回來(lái)，一個(gè)新的周期又開(kāi)始了，我們又要解決新問(wèn)題了，

So you don't have vacation time to look into some unsolved mathematic problems.

所以您就沒(méi)有假期去研究一些未解決的數(shù)學(xué)問(wèn)題了。

Well, I take, I do take breaks from time to time but, the mind can't completely switch off.?

但我會(huì)時(shí)不時(shí)地休息一下，但沒(méi)有辦法完全把大腦放空。
