什么是AP?

AP課程，即大學(xué)先修課程（Advanced Placement），是在美國(guó)和加拿大等國(guó)的高級(jí)中學(xué)中，由美國(guó)大學(xué)理事會(huì)（College Board）贊助和授權(quán)的高中先修性大學(xué)課程，至今一共有除AP Capstone Program之外，共計(jì)36門(mén)課程科目可供修讀。美國(guó)高中的課程一般分為普通課程、榮譽(yù)課程和AP課程。普通課程的GPA滿分4分，但單科AP課程的滿分是5分。那些選修AP課程較多、成績(jī)優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生可以快速大幅度的提升自己的GPA，從而在大學(xué)招生中取得較大的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)。但AP課程難度相當(dāng)于美國(guó)大學(xué)通識(shí)課程水平，它比一般的高中課程更深入、復(fù)雜和詳細(xì)。
