2001-2010年世界最佳門將:詹路易吉·布馮

“Gigi” Buffon, the WORLD’S BEST GOALKEEPER of the First Decade (2001-2010) of the 21st Century.
The annual vote for The World‘s best Goalkeeper during the period 2001 to 2010 produced a total of total 76 goalkeepers from all football continents who featured at least once in the annual world ranking. These 76 goalkeepers were composed of 44 Europeans, 21 South Americans, five Central and North Americans, four Africans and one each from Asia and Oceana. Among the 76 goalkeepers of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century were seven Spaniards, six Brazilians, six Argentinians, five Germans, four Italians, four Frenchmen and four Russians as well as each three Dutchmen, Paraguayans, Colombians, Portugueses, Mexicans and Englishmen.
Already, before the 2010 vote, it was clear by virtue of the votes cast that the 28-year-old Czech Petr ?ech of Chelsea FC London was the third-best goalkeeper of this first decade. But the 2010 vote could result in the 40-year-old Dutchman Edwin van der Sar of Manchester United FC pushing the now retired and many times World s best Goalkeeper Oliver Kahn from 4th place. Nevertheless Germany as well as Spain and Brazil were represented with two goalkeepers each among the “Top 10″. Only those goalkeepers who played for many years at the highest level made the top group of this world ranking of the 1st Decade.
The result of The World‘s best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade (2001-2010) has been decided by the 2010 vote. The second-placed Spaniard Iker Casillas managed to reduce the lead of “Gigi” Buffon by more than half but the Italian of Juventus FC Torino, although troubled by injuries, managed to defend his position with a meagre lead and was therefore The World‘s best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century. Within of ten years world votings the four times World‘s best Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was better placed only for total five places than the three times World‘s best Goalkeeper Iker Casillas of Real Madrid CF.

Establishing The World‘s best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century was done on the basis of the annual world vote (by the IFFHS), by taking each year‘s vote as representing 10 % of the value forthe decade. Each year many different jurors (countries) have taken part in the vote and, in the early years the jurors voted for the top threeplaces (3 points to 1 point), and only later for the top four places (4points to 1 point). So it would not be possible to simply add the points awarded in the annual votes.
The IFFHS has devised an equitable method for determining The World‘s best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century. From the annual ranking of the goalkeepers (as a result of the world vote)the IFFHS will take into consideration the “Top 20” for each year and allocate points to each place. So the first-placed receives 20 points, the second-placed 19 points, the third-placed 18 points ... and a point for twentieth place. If the annual world ranking comprises more than 20 goalkeepers, then the goalkeepers from 21st place onwards receive no points. If the annual world ranking comprises fewer than 20 goalkeepers (based on the fixed rules), no points will be awarded for the unoccupied places. Adding the points from the individual years provides a world ranking for the period 2001-2010. The first-placed goalkeeper in this final world ranking is The World‘s best Goalkeeper of the 1st Decade of the 21st Century.

The determination of the IFFHS All Time Ranking of The World's Best Goalkeeper carried out analogous as those of The World's Best Goalkeeper of the Decade or the Century, so there is a uniform system for the future. From the annual world ranking of the Goalkeepers (as a result of the world vote) the IFFHS will take into consideration the "Top 20" for each year and allocate points to each place. So the first-placed receives 20 points, the second-placed 19 points, the third-placed 18 points... and a point for twentieth place. If the annual world ranking comprises more than 20 goalkeepers, then the goalkeepers from 21st place onwards receive no points. If the annual world ranking comprises fewer than 20 goalkeepers (based on the fixed rules), no points will be awarded for the unoccupied places. Adding the points from the individual years provides an IFFHS All Time World Ranking since the beginning of the Goalkeeper Award in 1987 to end 2020.
Since already 34 years, the IFFHS crowned each year THE WORLD’S BEST GOALKEEPER (List of winners in the Column GALA AWARDS).
Gianluigi Buffon, the Italian Legend Goalkeeper, active in the Top Division since 1995 ( !), winner of 5 individual annual IFFHS Trophies (Record with Spain’s Iker Casillas and Germany’s Manuel Neuer) , leads the IFFHS All Time Ranking with 357 points, 97 more than the second Iker Casillas and 139 more than the third Petr Cech ! Buffon was ranked 18 years in the annual World's Top 5, Casillas 12 years and Petr Cech 10 years. Manuel Neuer is already also 10 years in the Top 5.

The Top 10 is composed of 9 European and 1 South American Goalkeepers. Italy (Buffon, Zenga), Spain (Casillas, Zubizaretta) and Germany (Neuer, Kahn) have each two goalkeepers in the Top 10.
The Top 50 is composed of 37 UEFA Goalkeepers, 10 CONMEBOL and 3 CONCACAF. Spain and Germany (each 6), Italy and Brazil (each 5) dominate the Goalkeepers ranking.?
The IFFHS All Time Ranking from 1987 to 2020 :
Best UEFA Goalkeeper : Gianluigi Buffon (Italy)
Best CONMEBOL Goalkeeper : Jose Luis Chilavert (Paraguay)
Best AFC Goalkeeper : Mohamed Abdullaziz Al-Deayea (Saudi Arabia)
Best CAF Goalkeeper : Vincent Enyeama (Nigeria)
Best CONCACAF Goalkeeper : Keylor Navas (Costa Rica)
Best Oceania Goalkeeper : Mark Bosnich (Australia)?
Manuel Neuer (ranking at the 5th place), Thibaut Courtois (11th), Hugo Lloris (17th) and Keylor Navas (20th) are the only active Goalkeepers in the Top 20. Oblak (22), Ter Stefen (25), De Gea (27), Allison (32), Bravo (42) and Handanovic (44) are the only other active goalkeepers in the Top 50. So the year 2021? will be interesting to see the currently best world goalkeepers in the Top 3 (Neuer) and in the Top 10 (Courtois, Lloris )…
2011-2020年世界門將最佳射手:羅熱里奧·切尼

Despite having played only a half of the decade (5 years out of 10), Rogério Ceni hadn’t competition in this category.
The legendary Brazilian have scored in top level games, since Jan 1, 2011 until finishing his phenomenal career in 2015, 36 goals from penalties and free kicks.?
It was just a small part of his unbelievable total career tally (129 goals) but no one was able to compete with him even in the frame of this decade. Nearest to him Exar Rosales and Mario Villasanti have scored “modest” 10 goals each.?
Only 11 goalkeepers managed to scored 7 and more goals during the decade. 8 of them played in South American leagues.

2000-2020年世界門將最佳射手:羅熱里奧·切尼

From this amount, 67 are the converted penalties, 44 direct free-kicks (Picture)and 1 indirect free-kick (he kicked the rolling ball).
Nearest to the leader, the Peruvian Johnny Vegas, achieved three times less goals than Rogério Ceni, 37 goals.
Total 17 goalkeepers have currently scored 10 and more goals in the top world football in XXIst century. They are gathered in the table below. Only 4 of them are still active (marked bold in the table). All four are pretty aged (36 to 40 years). So, nothing menaces the Rogério Ceni’s (whose total tally with the goals scored in XX century makes 129) leadership in foreseeable future.
The scoring goalkeepers is mainly phenomenon of Latin-American football. 12 players out of 17 are from this region (including Phan V?n Santos who played for Vietnam but has Brazilian origin).
