每當(dāng)我為世局倍感憂心時

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world,

就會想到希斯羅機(jī)場的入境大廳

I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow airport.

世人認(rèn)為世界充滿仇恨與貪婪

General opinion makes out that we live in a world of hatred and greed

但我卻不茍同

but I don't see that.

在我看來愛似乎無處不在

Seems to me that love is everywhere.

時常并不特別高貴 不值得一提

Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy

但是愛永遠(yuǎn)存在

but it's always there.

父母 母女 夫妻

Fathers and sons,mothers and daughters,husbands and wives,

男朋友 女朋友 老朋友

boyfriends,girlfriends,old friends.

當(dāng)飛機(jī)撞上世貿(mào)大樓時

When the planes hit the Twin Towers,

乘客所打出的電話都不是仇恨或報復(fù)

none of the phone calls from people on board were messages of hate or revenge,

而是愛的訊息

they were all messages of love.

你會發(fā)現(xiàn)愛其實(shí)無處不在
