I never writereviews for anything but this novel is well worth it! I started with the anime(which was excellent as well) and found myself wanting more. I was very happyto have found this site so I could continue to follow the story. Every timeTeam Happy beats a team, guild or opponent I feel like cheering. The charactersare likable and the descriptions of Glory make it easy to follow. Reading aboutHappy internet cafe makes me feel like I'm there. I would give this 10 stars ifI could.

I encountered TheKing's Avatar as an anime before reading the novel. That time, my interest waspiqued. The story, the characters, the game itself... I really loved them. Wheni begun reading the novel undr my sister's influence, I was really engrossed...I play RPG games myself and while I was reading it, I always feel like I'mplaying aswell. The details the events and engagements are really interesting.

The story in TKAis quite engaging once you get into it, following a pro league star fall andrebuild his way back into the league. The world is expansive and well done. Yousee some common tropes yet the author also has done an amazing job of notfalling into the tropes being the focus. The world is unique and doesn't borrowstory elements from any real world games. You do need to suspend disbelief inthe idea of how the game functions, but that is the case in most game basednovels so it is nothing out of the ordinary.
The translatorswork hard and keep the updates coming, giving us two chapters a day quite often.Occasionally the grammar is off or extra words get added, but most of the timeit is on point. The translators often interact with the readers, leaving notesto explain things that in many other web novels the translator just expects youto know.
As is often thecase, the main character is extremely strong...yet unlike so many of the othernovels the author does not make the main character infallible. He loses fights,gets pushed back, and has to review his plans. He is strong and leaves othersconfused or amazed with what he is capable of however, which is just what thereader hopes for. The other characters are all well written and have diversebackgrounds and motivations. Every character get's their moments to shine, andwhile some of the 'villians' will initially appear one dimensional they getbuilt upon as the novel continues.
This is easily myfavorite novel on this entire site.

I watch TKA animebefore read the novel. The story is very interesting because is feel realistic,so easier to imagine when read. The story also bring another perspective &point of view in game character. The main character in TKA is really refreshingthan any novel i ever read, because he is like shiva in hinduism god mitology,He is god of troublemaker and make the story more live.

I first saw TheKing's Avatar at its anime form and I was like "Wow, a Chinese anime withreal Chinese dub!" Among all other anime, this one really got me on thespot just at the first episode! Yes, 'among ALL other' even the Japanese ones.I was engrossed so I decided to read the novel on the suggested website of theepisode and boy! I am falling deeper for the story and Ye Xiu!

I would definitelyrecommend this book!! It has easily become one of the best and mostentertaining stories I've ever read! I seriously read this for two weeksstraight and caught up with the most recent chapter hahaha XD
The characters areall interesting and the progression of the story is quite gradual which givesus time to see the characters develop. They don't immediately go from noobs toexperts but over time they keep getting better and better. The story itself isaddicting and you will sometimes find yourself reading the next chapter, andthen the next, and then the next, just because you want to find out what comesnext.

I have beenfollowing this story from the first day it's translated... about 2 or 3 yearsago. At that time I was especially attracted with the main character. His struggleto rise again, the cruel but logical treatment from his club. If you are agamer, you will be able to relate to most parts of this story. Overall I thinkthe writer has done an excellent job picturing the situation and feeling of thegamers inside the story, I couldn't help but think that the writer is a gamerhim/herself.

This is definitelythe best novel I have read so far.
The characters,storyline, especially the struggle to become number one again! So far, eventhough they are able to resolve every issue, there is also moments of ups anddowns.

I saw the animefirst before deciding to read the manga and the novel since the anime is reallya cliff-hanger.
I did not expectanything at first about the story. I thought this would be something like atypical MMORPG where the MC would be transported into the game and would beleft locked out for the rest of his life. But I was wrong.
Who would havethought that this would be about eSports and truly about 'gaming'. I neverexpected that those kind of elements in a novel would be epic.

一開(kāi)始我對(duì)這個(gè)故事并不期待。我認(rèn)為這將會(huì)是一個(gè)典型的MMORPG，在那里主角將被傳送到游戲中，并且在他的余生中將被鎖在里面。但我錯(cuò)了。
誰(shuí)能想到這是關(guān)于電子競(jìng)技和真正的“游戲”。我從沒(méi)想到小說(shuō)里的那些元素會(huì)這般宏大。

One thing I hateis that the update of chapters is slow. It's a blessing when the authorreleases 2 chapters in a day. Overall, this is a must read especially forgamers because this is not just about what is happening in game but also forpro players and what the competitive scene is about. I need more novels likethis about Esports and not just inside the game.

Started readingyesterday around 10PM, finished at around chapter 60 around 6AM the nextmorning. Definitely hooked. Still got plenty more to read and I'm not even surehow I can finish it. But it's definitely worth the read.

This story isreally good. . The way the MC presents itself is really unique. .
It is really funnyyet action wise fantasy novel. .
I really recommendthis novel for those who wants to only enjoy their time. .
But be carefulreading it on public. . You might look crazy if you suddenly laugh all of asudden. .
