We?don't?read?and?write?poetry?because?it's?cute.?We?read?and?write?poetry?because?we?are?members?of?the?human?race.?And?the?human?race?is?filled?with?passion.

And?medicine,?law,?business,?engineering,?these?are?noble?pursuits?and?necessary?to?sustain?life.?But?poetry,?beauty,?romance,?love,?these?are?what?we?stay?alive?for.

醫(yī)學(xué)、法律、商務(wù)、工程，這些都是高尚的追求，足以支撐人的一生，但詩(shī)歌、美麗、浪漫和愛情，這些才是活著的意義。
