An interesting episode

夕陽(yáng)落下西山，它把最后一抹余照涂抹在西邊的天際，將天邊染得緋紅。窗外吹來(lái)的風(fēng)是清新的涼爽的，夾雜著濃郁的桂花馨香。

As the sun set over the western mountains, it daubed its last glow on the western horizon, staining to crimson. The wind blowing out of the window was fresh and cool, mixed with a strong fragrance of osmanthus.

“走，我們出去散散步吧?！背赃^(guò)晚飯，周興和對(duì)夫人和翻譯小姚說(shuō)道。

“好呀，”小姚高興地回答，“董事長(zhǎng)，今天我?guī)銈內(nèi)ヒ粋€(gè)好地方?！?/p>

“什么好地方？”

"What good place?"

“到孟尼利克廣場(chǎng)那邊去?！?/p>

"A place over Menelik Plaza."

“走那么遠(yuǎn)去干什么呢？”

"Why we go so far away?"

“那里有家叫‘雅貝提’的咖啡館，在亞迪斯亞貝巴最負(fù)盛名，我今天請(qǐng)你們?nèi)ズ劝Ｈ肀葋喿詈玫目Х取！?/p>

"There is a café called Jabeti, which is the most famous café in Addis Ababa. Today I’ll invite you to drink the best coffee in Ethiopia."

“是么？”周興和當(dāng)然知道，埃塞俄比亞是世界咖啡的原產(chǎn)地，它的咖啡在全球品質(zhì)最好，產(chǎn)量占世界總量的70%，世界各國(guó)最優(yōu)良的咖啡樹都是從這里引種的，能在這里品嘗世界最頂級(jí)的咖啡，周興和自然樂意，“那，今天我們就跟你去喝最好的咖啡。”

"Is it?" 涼風(fēng)習(xí)習(xí)，樹葉婆娑，華燈初上，夜色迷蒙。亞迪斯亞貝巴的夜晚，安謐而清爽，美麗而迷人。

幾個(gè)人在高大的行道樹下，一路慢慢向西走去。不到一個(gè)小時(shí)，來(lái)到孟尼利克廣場(chǎng)，廣場(chǎng)上游人已經(jīng)稀少，孟尼利克二世騎著戰(zhàn)馬高大的銅像，在橙色燈光的映襯下，更顯得威風(fēng)凜凜?！把咆愄帷笨Х瑞^就在廣場(chǎng)旁邊街上。他們向前走了一段路，走到咖啡館，聽見里面?zhèn)鱽?lái)悠揚(yáng)的《小夜曲》。走進(jìn)門，但見里面陳設(shè)明麗而優(yōu)雅，醇厚濃郁的咖啡香味撲鼻而來(lái)，讓人頓時(shí)神清氣爽。當(dāng)他們坐下，侍者給他們送上煮熟的咖啡和當(dāng)?shù)氐男〕院?，周興和端起杯子聞了聞，果然這里的咖啡和其它地方的不同，有著一種很特別的香氣，那種香味充盈著人的五臟六腑。

They were walking slowly westward under the tall roadside trees. Less than an hour, they came to the Menelik Plaza, where there were few visitors, and the tall bronze statue of King Menelik II riding a war horse, was more majestic in the orange light. The Jabeti Café was on the street just off the plaza. They walked on a little way to the café, where they heard the melodious serenade. Entering the door, the furnishings inside were bright and elegant, and the full-bodied rich coffee aroma was tangy, making the person immediately refreshed. When they sat down and the waiter brought them boiled coffee and local snacks, Zhou Xinhe picked up the cup and sniffed. Sure enough, the coffee here was different from anywhere else. It had a very special aroma, which filled people's viscera happily.

不知為什么，當(dāng)周興和端起咖啡，小姚的目光一下就被那精致的咖啡杯吸引。她沒說(shuō)一句話，只是目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地盯著杯子上面的文字來(lái)。那用銅質(zhì)鑄造的杯子上，凸顯著兩排英文：“FGC；ZHOUXINGHE”。

For some reasons, when Zhou Xinghe picked up the coffee cup, Yao's eyes were drawn to the exquisite cup. She said nothing, but stared at the words on the cup. Two rows of English words were "FGC; ZHOUXINGHE ".

周興和疑惑地看了看小姚，又疑惑地看了看手中的杯子，他也被那杯子上的文字吸引了——“ FGC”，不就是自己公司生產(chǎn)的五防建材么？“ZHOUXINGHE”不就是自己的名字么！這是怎么回事？他詫異之余，也大惑不解：這是一種巧合，還是有人在用他的產(chǎn)品和姓名打廣告呢？

Zhou Xinghe looked at Yao doubtfully, and looked at the cup in his hand doubtfully, then he was also attracted by the words on the cup - "FGC" was his company's production of five-proof green compound building materials; and "ZHOUXINGHE" was his name! What's going on here? He wondered, too: was it a coincidence, or was someone advertising by his product and name?

“這，是怎么回事？”他指著杯子問(wèn)小姚。

“我也是在想，這是怎么回事呢？”小姚眨了眨眼睛，回答說(shuō)，“是呀，我們公司的產(chǎn)品和您的名字怎么被人鑄造到了咖啡杯上呢？”

"I was thinking, too. What's going on?" Yao blinked her eyes and replied, "Well, how did our product and your name get cast on a coffee cup?"

“老板，你過(guò)來(lái)一下?！敝芘d和向柜臺(tái)后邊的老板招了招手，待店里的老板聞聲過(guò)來(lái)后，他指著杯子對(duì)小姚說(shuō)道，“你問(wèn)他，這是怎么回事？”

"Boss, come here please." Zhou Xinghe waved to the man behind the counter, and when the shop owner heard and came, he pointed to his cup and said to Yao, "Ask him, what's going on here?"

“他問(wèn)你，”小姚用英語(yǔ)向老板問(wèn)道?！斑@杯子上的文字是怎么回事？”?

“哈哈。“咖啡店老板聽了小姚的問(wèn)話，爽朗地笑了起來(lái)，手舞足蹈地對(duì)著他們滔滔不絕地說(shuō)了一大堆話。

"Haha." The owner of the coffee shop laughed heartily at Yao's question and held forth a lot of talk, waving his arms.

“他說(shuō)，恐怕你們不知道，從遙遠(yuǎn)的中國(guó)來(lái)了一位叫做周興和的人，這個(gè)人是個(gè)奇人、神人！”小姚還沒等那老板說(shuō)完，她就笑了起來(lái)，向周興和倆人翻譯道，“他說(shuō)，這個(gè)人，能夠用地里的秸稈建造火都燒不塌、炸也炸不垮的房屋；這個(gè)人還長(zhǎng)有火眼金睛，能看透土地下的埋藏的寶貝，現(xiàn)在在這里幫助他們國(guó)家發(fā)展?！?/p>

"He said, I'm afraid you don't know that a man named Zhou Xinghe has come from far away China. This man is a miraculous and god-like man!" Before the boss finished, Yao laughed and translated to Zhou and his wife. "He said that this man could use straw to build a house that wouldn't burn down or explode. And this is a man with a keen eye who can see under the ground what is buried and who is here to help their country to develop."

“哈，”周興和聞言也笑了，“你問(wèn)他，為什么要把星河建材和我的名字鑄造在這杯子上?！?/p>

"Haha," Zhou Xinghe smiled, "Ask him why he cast Xinghe Building Materials and my name on this cup."

“他說(shuō)，這里的人尊敬和崇拜這個(gè)周興和，就把他的‘FGC’和名字鑄造在了杯子、還有其它一些器皿上，一來(lái)為了能記住他；再有呢，就是沾他一點(diǎn)福氣……”

"He said that people here respect and worship this Zhou Xinghe, and they cast his 'FGC' and his name on cups and other vessels, to remember him; what's more, it could also be with his blessing..."

“哈哈哈……”小姚話沒譯完，周興和與夫人小王都大笑起來(lái)。

"Haha..." Zhou Xinghe and his wife Wang burst out laughing before Yao finished her translation.

“董事長(zhǎng)，這個(gè)你沒看見嗎？”小姚指了指杯子上“ZHOUXINGHE”后面他不認(rèn)識(shí)的另外幾個(gè)字母，“這幾個(gè)字母翻譯過(guò)來(lái)，就是‘神人’的意思?！?/p>

"Can't you see this, Chairman?" Yao pointed to the letters after ZHOUXINGHE wich he didn't recognize on the cup, "which means the 'miraculous man'."

“言過(guò)其實(shí)、言過(guò)其實(shí)。”周興和聞言又笑了，“小姚，今天你是有意帶我們到這個(gè)地方來(lái)長(zhǎng)見識(shí)的吧？”

"That’s exaggerated." Zhou Xinghe smiled again. "Yao, did you mean to bring us to this place today to learn more?"

“不不不，董事長(zhǎng)，我確實(shí)不知道，來(lái)到這里還有這么一個(gè)有趣的插曲?！闭f(shuō)完，小姚她轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)頭，指著周興和，有些神秘地又對(duì)老板說(shuō)道，“你知道他是誰(shuí)嗎？”

"No, no, no, Chairman, I really had no idea that there was such an interesting episode here." With that, Yao turned her head, pointed at Zhou Xinghe, and said to the shop owner, somewhat mysteriously, "Do you know who he is?"

老板望著周興和，捋了捋他下巴上的胡須，搖了搖頭。

“我告訴您，你面前這個(gè)人，就是你們說(shuō)的神人周興和！”

“什么，他就是周—興—和？”咖啡館老板又仔細(xì)看了看周興和，似信非信地點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭又搖搖頭。

"What? He is the Zhou Xinghe?" The owner of the café looked at Zhou Xinghe carefully again, nodded and shook his head disbelievingly.

“我怎么能騙您呢？他確實(shí)就是從中國(guó)來(lái)的周興和先生。”

"How can I deceive you? He is indeed Mr. Zhou Xinghe from China."

“哦，是么！”咖啡館老板再看了周興和一遍，一下上前抓住他的手，“您，真是周興和先生？”

"Oh, my god!" The owner of the café looked at Zhou Xinghe again and grabbed his hand. "Are you Really Mr. Zhou Xinghe?"

周興和笑吟吟地對(duì)他點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭。

Zhou Xinghe nodded to him with a smile.

咖啡館老板雙手緊緊握住周興和的手，又激動(dòng)地說(shuō)起什么來(lái)。

The café owner took Zhou Xinghe's hand tightly in both his hands, and began to speak excitedly.

“他說(shuō)，真是百聞不如一見?！毙∫Ψg道，“你們今天能來(lái)到這里，使他的咖啡館蓬蓽生輝，他感到莫大的榮幸。他問(wèn)您，能和你合個(gè)影嗎？”

"He said seeing is believing." Yao translated. "It's a great honor for him to serve you here today, to have his café honoured by you. He asked you, can he take a picture with you?"

“你告訴他，我就是一個(gè)平凡普通的一個(gè)中國(guó)人，沒有他們所說(shuō)的那些神通，也感謝他們的厚愛?！敝芘d和說(shuō)，“和我合個(gè)影？這當(dāng)然可以?！?/p>

"Tell him that I am just an ordinary Chinese, without the magic they said, but also thank them for their love." Zhou Xinghe said, "Take a picture with me? Of course he can."

咖啡館老板和周興和他們的對(duì)話，已被旁邊正在喝咖啡的當(dāng)?shù)厝寺犚姡藗兗娂娤蛩麄儑诉^(guò)來(lái)，都想目睹一下周興和這個(gè)“神人”的風(fēng)采。在咖啡館老板和周興和合完影后，大家情不自禁熱烈地鼓起掌來(lái)，紛紛爭(zhēng)著要和周興和合影。

The conversation between the café owner and Zhou Xinghe was heard by the locals drinking coffee nearby, and people crowded around them, all wanting to see Zhou Xinghe the "miraculous man". After the café owner and Zhou Xinghe took a photo together, everyone couldn't help but burst into enthusiastic applauses and clamored for a photo with Zhou Xinghe too.

“小姚，你問(wèn)老板，這咖啡杯能不能賣一套給我？我也留個(gè)紀(jì)念?！碑?dāng)大家安靜下來(lái)后，周興和對(duì)小姚說(shuō)道。

"Yao, ask the boss, can he sell me one set of this coffee cup? I'll keep a souvenir." Zhou Xinghe said to Yao when everyone was quiet.

“沒有問(wèn)題、沒有問(wèn)題！”咖啡館老板聽了小姚的話，他揮了揮手，大度地說(shuō)，“我送一套給周先生作紀(jì)念就是了，哪能要他的錢！另外，今天的你們的消費(fèi)，我也不能收你們的錢，也全部免單！”

"No problem at all!" The owner of the café listened to Yao's words. He waved his hand and said generously, "I'll just send a set to Mr. Zhou as a souvenir. I won't ask for money! In addition, your bill today is on my treat, I can not take your money, all free of charge!"

“那不行，錢我們肯定是要給的?！敝芘d和說(shuō)道。

“不不不！”老板連連擺手，“收下你們的錢，神會(huì)譴責(zé)我，我妻子會(huì)罵我，我會(huì)于心不安的……”

"No, no, no!" The boss waved his hands. "If I take your money, God will condemn me, my wife will scold me, and I'll not be set at ease..."

“哈哈哈……”老板話沒說(shuō)完，全場(chǎng)的人都大笑起來(lái)。

"Haha..." Before the boss finished, the whole store burst out laughing.

亞迪斯亞貝巴咖啡館老板送給周興和的這套精致的銅質(zhì)咖啡杯，至今還擺在他住宅的博物架上，上面的文字還熠熠發(fā)光，見證著他與非洲人民的友誼和感情。

The exquisite copper coffee cups given to Zhou Xinghe by the café owner of Addis Ababa still stand on the display shelf of his house, with the words on them still shining, testifying his friendship and affection with the African people.

“董事長(zhǎng)呀，今天晚上在這里，您有了那么多的‘粉絲’，可過(guò)了一把當(dāng)明星的癮哪！”回去的路上，小姚這樣取笑他們的董事長(zhǎng)。

"Chairman, you have so many 'fans' tonight here, just like a super star!" On the way back, Yao made fun of their chairman.

“你別說(shuō)，我這一輩子，還真沒有過(guò)過(guò)明星癮，這一回，就算是吧?！?/p>

"Well, in my lifetime, I never had been a star, and this time, maybe it is."

當(dāng)天晚上，周興和做了一個(gè)夢(mèng)，夢(mèng)到了自己家鄉(xiāng)那綠色的山林、那蜿蜒的小路、那流淌的小河、那塵封的老屋，以及他那爹媽的身影……

That night, Zhou Xinghe had a dream. He dreamed of the green mountains, the winding path, the flowing river, the dusty old house, and the figure of his parents...

明年清明該回去給老父老母上上墳、燒炷香了。醒來(lái)，他突然冒出這個(gè)念頭。

In Qingming festival of the next year, it should go back to visit the old parents’ grave, and burn some joss sticks. Waking up, the idea came to him.
