The only reason for people working hard is to earn money.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

What people work for has always been a controversy.
While some attribute salaries to be the sole cause, I tend to disagree. Specifically, apart from money ,there are other reasons.
?
1 Unequivocally/ undeniably/ admittedly, money is a very important factor why people work.
2 As we are living in a materialistic world where money / currency is equal to our purchasing ability ,whether we can make money or how much we can make is correlated to what kind of life we can live.
3 This accounts for the situation that some people struggle to work .
4 When they climb their career ladder successfully and are promoted , their salaries will accordingly be increased, ?which will boost their well-being
5 ?By contrast, if they are at a disadvantage position where they earn less competitive salaries , they may find it difficult to feed themselves or their families, not to mention chase dreams.

Nonetheless , other reasons can also explain people's working motivation.
One is life mission.
As different people have different life have different goals and dreams ,these may vary
For example, for some technological talents who have revolutionized the way how we communicate, the ambition of changing the world instead of profits drives them to devote during their early start up time.
Similarly , medical workers are aspiring to save the sick during this pandemic without considering how much they can earn.
For them , to realize their life value and contribute to communities outweigh the income they can get.
Another case is some people who are engaged in voluntary projects, such as environmental protection or helping the poor dedicate themselves in helping others while their ?salaries are negligible.
These people would like to maximize their efforts in a large scale and marginalize their own benefits.

In closing , it is quite understandable and noticeable that some people work for money whereas others have their own pursuing and they do not put money as priority when working.
