This poem is for one of my best friends, and, undoubtedtly,

the time we spent together.

When night fell，

the diamond-like shimmering stars

bend down to kiss you.

?Would you miss me too?

?

When nostalgia came,

?past memories flooded over me

?like endless tides.

Were you by my side?

?

Gone were the days,

?when we chatted against the vast blue sky.

?How I wished the planet Earth could turn slowly

?if I had to say farewell in a sigh.

?

Coming is the future,

?when I will be chasing your pace tirelessly

just to respond to such heating passion buried inside—

?

I have been praying

?that you could grant me a chance

to seek eternity together,

despite all those gossips and prejudice along the way.
