智源消息，國際電氣和電子工程師協(xié)會(huì)（IEEE）雖未官方公布，但 2021年新晉 Fellow 名單已出。在新增名單中共有 282 位學(xué)者入選，其中華人學(xué)者 75 位（占總?cè)藬?shù)的26.6%）。

清華大學(xué)唐杰、劉世霞、王昭誠、耿華、吳文傳，浙江大學(xué)文福拴、北京大學(xué)喻俊志、京東集團(tuán)副總裁鄭宇、中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)李厚強(qiáng)等 34 位知名學(xué)者入選。

IEEE，全稱“電氣和電子工程師協(xié)會(huì)”（Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers），是美國的電子技術(shù)與信息科學(xué)工程師的協(xié)會(huì)，也是世界上最大的非營利性專業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)，致力于電氣、電子、計(jì)算機(jī)工程和與科學(xué)有關(guān)的領(lǐng)域的開發(fā)和研究，在航空航天、信息技術(shù)、電力及消費(fèi)性電子產(chǎn)品等領(lǐng)域已制定了900多個(gè)行業(yè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，現(xiàn)已發(fā)展成為具有較大影響力的國際學(xué)術(shù)組織。其會(huì)員人數(shù)超過40萬人，遍布160多個(gè)國家，其中50%以上來自美國以外地區(qū)。在電氣及電子工程、計(jì)算機(jī)及控制技術(shù)領(lǐng)域，IEEE 發(fā)表的文獻(xiàn)數(shù)量占全球數(shù)量近1/3。

?IEEE Fellow 即IEEE會(huì)士/院士，為該協(xié)會(huì)最高等級(jí)會(huì)員，是 IEEE 授予成員的最高榮譽(yù)，每年由 IEEE 同行專家在擁有高級(jí)（Senior）或終身（Life）等級(jí)的會(huì)員中評(píng)選，當(dāng)選人需要對(duì)工程科學(xué)技術(shù)的進(jìn)步或應(yīng)用作出重大貢獻(xiàn)，為社會(huì)帶來重大價(jià)值。當(dāng)選人數(shù)不超過IEEE當(dāng)年會(huì)員總?cè)藬?shù)的1‰。由于每年當(dāng)選的IEEE Fellow數(shù)量較少，因此當(dāng)選的科學(xué)家基本都是在科學(xué)與工程技術(shù)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)取得重要成就的杰出科學(xué)家。
