1 My son, forget not my teaching; but let thy heart keep my commandments;

3:1 我兒、不要忘記我的法則．〔或作指教〕你心要謹守我的誡命．

2 For length of days, and years of life, and peace, will they add to thee.

3:2 因為他必將長久的日子、生命的年數(shù)、與平安、加給你。

3 Let not kindness and truth forsake thee; {N}

bind them about thy neck, write them upon the table of thy heart;

3:3 不可使慈愛誠實離開你．要系在你頸項上、刻在你心版上．

4 So shalt thou find grace and good favour in the sight of God and man.

3:4 這樣、你必在　神和世人眼前蒙恩寵、有聰明。

5 Trust in the LORD with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding.

3:5 你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．

6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.

3:6 在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the LORD, and depart from evil;

3:7 不要自以為有智慧．要敬畏耶和華、遠離惡事．

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

3:8 這便醫(yī)治你的肚臍、滋潤你的百骨。
