For some theoretical courses, such as math, philosophy, the quality of class is measured by the real content that can be transmitted in certain periods of time from the teacher. This has no correlation with jokes.A good teacher is supposed to fill his or her class with comprehensive knowledge relating this subject instead of jamming unrelated jokes just for the fun atmosphere.
However, for some practical courses where interaction is rather important, such as language learning ,how to dance, how to cook ,a funny teacher is more likely to create an environment where students would find it easy to engage.
Besides ,It also relates to different characteristics of different teachers .Those who are naturally humorous ,they will involve jokes in their course in a natural way. Otherwise ,it would be a rather embarrassing thing to hear some serious teachers telling jokes.

Learning new things is a very important quality in this fast changing society. Therefore, learning is not an age issue ,instead ,it is you who decide whether you are thirsty for learning. ?
Even though kids are said to be the group who have the best memory, the efficiency of their learning actually is still related to whether they would like to learn or whether they feel interest in the things that they have been learning. Otherwise, they won't be really serious about their study.
For adults who would like to keep pace with the fast changing world, learning is not a hobby ,but a must. As long as they have strong willingness to pick up new skills , learning has never ever been a difficult thing.
In closing, learning is not the privilege for young people. ?Instead, it is the most democratic practice amongest all ages group.
