????????中國(guó)駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館館舍是外交領(lǐng)事館舍，也是中國(guó)的國(guó)家財(cái)產(chǎn)。根據(jù)《維也納領(lǐng)事關(guān)系公約》和《中美領(lǐng)事條約》，美方不得以任何方式侵犯中國(guó)駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館館舍。對(duì)于美方強(qiáng)行進(jìn)入中國(guó)駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館館舍的行徑，中方表示強(qiáng)烈不滿和堅(jiān)決反對(duì)，已提出嚴(yán)正交涉。中方將就此作出正當(dāng)和必要反應(yīng)。

The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Saturday expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to US law enforcement officers' forced entry into the Chinese consulate general in Houston.

US law enforcement officers on Friday forcibly entered the premises of the Chinese consulate general in Houston. In response, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said the premises of the Chinese consulate general in Houston are diplomatic and consular premises as well as China's national property.

Based on the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and the China-US Consular Convention, the United States must not infringe on the premises of the Chinese consulate general in Houston in any way, he said.

"China has expressed strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to US forced entry into the premises of the Chinese consulate general in Houston, and has lodged solemn representations. China will make a proper and necessary response in this regard," Wang said.

• A group of men accompanied by a US State Department official were seen forcing open a door at the Chinese consulate in Houston on Friday, shortly after a US?government closure order for the mission took effect at 4 pm?Central Time (2100 GMT).

• 據(jù)路透社報(bào)道，中國(guó)駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館的工作人員于24日下午4點(diǎn)之后，也就是美方所發(fā)出的“關(guān)閉令”生效后不久離開(kāi)了總領(lǐng)館大樓。在此之后不久，一伙疑似是美國(guó)執(zhí)法人員的人強(qiáng)行打開(kāi)了中國(guó)駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館的后門并闖了進(jìn)去。

• After the men pried open a rear door and went inside, two uniformed members of the?US State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security arrived to guard the door. They did not respond to questions from reporters.

????????7月21日，美方悍然單方面要求中方限時(shí)關(guān)閉駐休斯敦總領(lǐng)館，此舉嚴(yán)重違反國(guó)際法和國(guó)際關(guān)系基本準(zhǔn)則以及《中美領(lǐng)事條約》的有關(guān)規(guī)定，蓄意破壞中美關(guān)系。中方予以強(qiáng)烈譴責(zé)、堅(jiān)決反對(duì)，敦促美方盡快撤銷有關(guān)錯(cuò)誤決定。

On July 21, the US abruptly?demanded that the Chinese Consulate-General in Houston cease all operations and events within a time limit. This decision seriously violates international law, basic norms governing international relations and the Consular Convention Between China and the United States. China strongly condemns and firmly opposes this move that sabotages China-US relations, and urges the US side to immediately revoke its erroneous decision.

The US move has seriously damaged the regular exchanges and cooperation between the people of the southern part of the United States and China and their right for consular services from the Chinese government. It is completely against the people's will.
