well this is a very good topic that reminds me of my roommate’s birthday party , which was an important event I was late for weeks ago .

when it happened?dates back to?the end of last month barely two or three weeks ago , it was a Sunday and my roommate was throwing her 19th?birthday party in a classy restaurant , I got invited however where I was was a little bit distant .

what happened was that I was in the city of Beijing for an international competition of case studies , the?final round against a group of students who came all the way from the states?, the whole thing ended in the afternoon after which I took a bullet train?heading back to Shanghai where the party was held .

the reason why I was late for the event had to do with?traffic , actually the?high speed train?reached Shanghai?right on time?, yet there was a traffic congestion between where I was?and where I wanted to be which cost a lot of time on the way?.

speaking of how I felt about this experience , you know what

firstly ,

I felt worried and anxious along the way since the lady who had her birthday has been a close friend of mine for years and I made her a promise that I’d show up in time?, but when facing the mess on the road , there was nothing I could do to get there punctually , for instance ,....
