這是針對(duì)于英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言而言的。事實(shí)上,如果將其泛化為針對(duì)所有語(yǔ)言相關(guān)的信息,那么歸納Generalization無(wú)疑對(duì)于凝練各種學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)言的表達(dá),直指中心話題,獲取目的信息,有極大的幫助。簡(jiǎn)而言之,用一個(gè)單詞概括一個(gè)話題,并讓交流對(duì)象明白你的意圖,多數(shù)情況下要比一百個(gè)詞難得多。姑且不論表達(dá)的精確性,在歸納中也應(yīng)具備1中涉及的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)性體現(xiàn)。更具挑戰(zhàn)的是將原本復(fù)雜的含義、概念、話題,在歸納后,用淺顯易懂地形式提取并呈現(xiàn)。Abstract這個(gè)單詞本身作名詞表示摘要,不僅是書面文章的摘要(文摘、論文、簡(jiǎn)報(bào)等),在日常交際中,但凡涉及語(yǔ)言與思維的過(guò)程,我們就無(wú)時(shí)不刻在完成概括、提取、重組、抽象的過(guò)程。歸納與抽象的訓(xùn)練,對(duì)于培養(yǎng)EAP的語(yǔ)言能力具有十分重要的意義。
