Dr.Huang本科畢業(yè)于北京師范大學(xué)物理系（2007），在中國科學(xué)院半導(dǎo)體研究所獲得理學(xué)碩士學(xué)位（2010），后在英國謝菲爾德大學(xué)師從Neil. Hunter院士獲得分子生物學(xué)與生物技術(shù)博士學(xué)位（2018）。2010-2014年期間，Dr.Huang就職于全球知名光譜儀公司HORIBA公司，負(fù)責(zé)多種光學(xué)光譜技術(shù)與儀器的開發(fā)和研制。博士畢業(yè)后短暫就職于牛津大學(xué)附屬ONI公司，擔(dān)任超分辨顯微技術(shù)在生物成像領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用科學(xué)家。2019-2021年于中國科學(xué)院蘇州生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程技術(shù)研究所，擔(dān)任副研究員、碩士生導(dǎo)師。2021年加入西交利物浦大學(xué)生物科學(xué)系，任助理教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。黃博士的個人主頁：https://www.xjtlu.edu.cn/zh/departments/academic-departments/biological-sciences/staff/xia-huang

Dr.Huang Lab長期從事光合作用仿生捕光系統(tǒng)的技術(shù)開發(fā)和能量傳導(dǎo)效率研究，專注于在不同材料表面構(gòu)建納米結(jié)構(gòu)的人工捕光系統(tǒng)，推動生物太陽能芯片的發(fā)展。此外，Dr.Huang正積極開展腫瘤與非腫瘤細(xì)胞在微流控芯片上的3D共培養(yǎng)工作，以研究微環(huán)境對腫瘤生長、遷移、入侵和異質(zhì)性耐藥的影響。已申請專利十余項(xiàng)、發(fā)表論文十余篇（包括 Nat Communications, Nature Plants, Lab on a Chip）。

About the project

Established under strong support from MIT, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) plans to do for Singapore what MIT has done for Massachusetts and Silicon Valley, as well as for the world. SUTD is conducting top-tier research and education.?At SUTD, Prof. Lingjie Duan (http://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/lingjie-duan/) is a pioneer to lead the inter-disciplinary research area by combining information/AI engineering and economic theory. He leads the Network Economics and Optimization Lab (NEOL) at SUTD, supported by around 10-million dollars’ funding and the prestigious MIT-SUTD Joint Postdoctoral Programme in the past few years. Very recently, he has been awarded several research grants in multi-agent machine learning by MOE and MINDEF. His interdisciplinary research contribution is widely acknowledged, and he received the SUTD Excellence in Research Award in 2016 and the 10th Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2015. He is now an editor of several top engineering journals in information systems.?He is looking for self-motivated PhD students who have strong engineering or math background and are passionate in cutting-edge research about multi-agent machine learning, sharing economics, resource allocation, network optimization, and networked artificial intelligence in various information engineering areas. The applicants can be undergraduate and master students about to graduate in related majors, such as (industrial) engineering systems, computer science, electrical engineering, (applied) math, economics, and control. About us

Applications are invited for two open PhD positions in the newly formed Emmy Noether group of Dr. Thomas Schreiner (Department of Psychology, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universita?t Mu?nchen). In the project, we will investigate the role of breathing as an essential rhythm of brain function in the context of sleep-related memory consolidation. The successful applicants will work in a multi-disciplinary environment on a project that aims at understanding the fundamentals of human memory consolidation. The project will comprise research with epilepsy patients, patients with obstructive sleep apnea as well as healthy populations, involving invasive as well as non-invasive techniques (EEG / iEEG). The research is funded by the Emmy Noether program of the German Research Foundation (project title: “Breathe to Consolidate: Respiration as a royal pathway to the sleeping brain”).

Tasks and responsibilities

conduct research (including data acquisition, analyses and interpretation) in the context of memory consolidation, including sleep recordings at night

prepare and participate in project-based publications

participate in and present research at national and international conferences and workshops

support and help organize project based events and activities

Qualifications

an academic university degree (master or equivalent) in the field of psychology, biology, (cognitive) neuroscience, biomedical engineering or related disciplines.

enthusiasm for fundamental research.

enthusiasm for conducting research with humans, both patients and healthy participants.

motivated to conduct sleep experiments at night.

motivated to study human electrophysiology (some prior experience is a plus).

willingness to learn programming (e.g., Matlab, Python, R) and advanced multivariate analysis techniques (some prior experience is a plus).

motivated to publish in peer-reviewed journals.

fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills (or the willingness to learn) are a plus due to patient contact.
