大家好，今天我們繼續(xù)翻譯第二幕第二首歌曲。這是筆者覺(jué)得作畫(huà)和演唱水平最高的一首歌。這首歌曲叫《偉大的作家》，講述了史努比如何寫(xiě)作的故事。

What about the King?

Stampede, the foreman shouted,

And forty thousand head of cattle,

Isn't this exciting?

男主朝上顎使出致命一擊

An upper cut to the jaw,

The fight was over,

于是，牧場(chǎng)保全了

And so the ranch was saved.

有時(shí)候，當(dāng)你成為一名偉大的作家

Sometimes when you're a great writer,

你的才思如泉涌般

the words come so fast,

你恨不得能再寫(xiě)快點(diǎn)

you can hardly put them down on paper.

這味道讓人著迷

There's that wonderful smell

讓人真幸福

called odor of happiness,

聞著像錢(qián)

Smells like money,

筆者后記：能把寫(xiě)作寫(xiě)得像彈鋼琴那么流利，這真的是把文學(xué)與音樂(lè)有機(jī)地結(jié)合起來(lái)！這首歌曲另一個(gè)好的地方在于它“形散神不散”：沒(méi)有按照傳統(tǒng)的抒情模式去寫(xiě)，而是以一種即興手段想到哪寫(xiě)到哪，讓聽(tīng)眾在不知不覺(jué)間受到熏陶，感同身受。這真是藝術(shù)的趣味！
