In Wales, there are several villages located in deep valleys where everyone lives and no one on the mountains as the soil is very poor. In one of those villages there was a 22 -year-old girl, who had a boyfriend living in another village on the other side of the mountain.So the young couple needed to cross the mountain when they went to visit each other.Sometimes her boyfriend came to the village to see her and she visited her boyfriend occasionally.?

One winter afternoon,the clouds were lowering down and it looked like it was going to snow at any time.Everyone was on the way home before it began to snow except her.She was going to see her boyfriend as planned.Having ignored the weather,she got into her car and set off towards the mountain.The rough mountain road was narrow and twisty,but it was not a problem for her since she had travelled it a lot and was familiar with it.Soon it began to snow while she was driving up the mountain. Even worse,a strong wind suddenly sprung up,buffeting the car heavily and making the driving more difficult.But she didn’t mind,she just kept driving.When she got to the top of the mountain,it was pitch black.There is a big parking area at the Pass that is usually crowded in Summer,but at that moment,there were no cars.Suddenly a little figure ran in front of the car.She couldn't believe her eyes at first.After looking again,she saw it was a girl who was about12 years old standing at the side of the road,shivering.She pulled over immediately and wound the side window down,asking“It’s so dark.What are you doing here?”?

“I went for a walk in the woods and got lost.” the girl answered, “Where do you live?”she asked,
The girl told her the village where she lived.She realised that the girl lived in the same village as her boyfriend.So she offered her a ride. She appreciated it and got into the car,sitting in the back seat because the front seat was full of her personal belongings.?

They crossed the Pass,and went down the mountain.When they approached the village,she asked him which part of the village she lived in.The girl told her she lived on the edge of the village and she told her the name of the house was Rose Cottage.She drove through the centre of the village directly to that house without stopping,passing by her boyfriend’s house. Finally,they arrived.She looked at the whitewashed house which was in a quiet old condition,with thick walls and a slate roof.It was supposed to be a squat building instead.Whatever.She turned around and wanted to tell her that it was her destination.Oddly,there was no person in the car.The girl had disappeared.During the whole journey the car hadn't stopped even once and they had kept talking to each other.?

Obviously,she was scared and also wondered what had happened.She got out of her car and knocked on the door of Rose Cottage.An adult man answered the door.
“Does a little girl live here.” She asked,
”No.” the man said,but he asked further after a short stop,
”what does the girl look like?”
She described the details of the girl to the man and he told her that it was his daughter who had died 5 years ago.She was walking along the side of the road near the parking area when a car ran her over and drove away without stopping.The poor girl died at the accident.No one knew who the killer was.He told her that a few people had seen his daughter and brought her back home as she had.But he never saw his daughter again after she had died.

Maybe the girl was waiting there to try to find out who killed her.?
