We are the hollow men 我們是空心人
We are the stuffed men 我們是填充著草的人
Leaning together 倚靠在一起
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas! 腦殼中裝滿了稻草。唉！
Our dried voices，when 我們干巴的嗓音，當(dāng)
We whisper together 我們?cè)谝粔K兒颯颯低語(yǔ)
Are quiet and meaningless 寂靜，又毫無(wú)意義
As wind in dry grass 好似干草地上的風(fēng)
Or rats' feet over broken glass 或我們干燥的地窖中
In our dry cellar 耗子踩在碎玻璃上的步履
Shape without form，shade without colour, 呈形卻沒有形式，呈影卻沒有顏色，
Paralysed force，gesture without motion; 麻痹的力量，打著手勢(shì)卻毫無(wú)動(dòng)作；
Those who have crossed 那些穿越而過(guò)
With direct eyes，to death's other Kingdom 目光筆直的人，抵達(dá)了死亡的另一王國(guó)
Remember us - if at all - not as lost 記住我們——萬(wàn)一可能——不是那迷途的
Violent souls，but only 暴虐的靈魂，而僅僅是
As the hollow men 空心人
The stuffed men. 填充著草的人。

Eyes I dare not meet in dreams 眼睛，我不敢在夢(mèng)中相遇
In death's dream kingdom 在死亡的夢(mèng)幻國(guó)土
These do not appear： 它們不會(huì)顯現(xiàn)：
There，the eyes are 那兒，眼睛是
Sunlight on a broken column 映照在折柱上的陽(yáng)光
There，is a tree swinging 那兒，是一棵搖曳的樹
And voices are 噪音
In the wind's singing 在風(fēng)的歌唱里
More distant and more solemn 比一顆在消逝的星。
Than a fading star. 更遠(yuǎn)更肅穆
Let me be no nearer 讓我不要更接近

Let me also wear 讓我也穿上
Such deliberate disguises 如此審慎精心的偽裝
Rat's coat，crowskin，crossed staves 耗子外套，烏鴉皮，十字棍杖

No nearer - 不要更接近——
Not that final meeting 不是那最后的相聚
In the twilight kingdom 在黃昏的國(guó)土里

This is the dead land 這是死亡的土地
This is cactus land 這是仙人掌的土地
Here the stone images 石頭偶象在這兒
Are raised，here they receive 被升起，在這里它們接受
The supplication of a dead man's hand 一只死人手的懇請(qǐng)
Under the twinkle of a fading star. 在一顆漸逝的星子的光芒里。
Is it like this 它就象這樣
