英語好像一般不說 blind eyes。但有一個很常用的例外，即turn a blind eye (to sth) 這一習(xí)語，意思是“（對……）假裝看不見（不理會、不計(jì)較）”。如：

The manager?turned a blind eye?when his staff were late. 職員遲到時(shí)經(jīng)理裝作沒看見。

I can’t?turn a blind eye?when someone is being robbed. 當(dāng)有人遭到搶劫時(shí)，我不能視而不見。

You shouldn’t really drink here, but I’m willing to?turn a blind eye to it. 你不該在這兒喝酒，不過我愿意對此事睜一只眼閉一只眼。

There’s so much suffering in the world, you can’t just?turn a blind eye?to it. 世界上有那么多人在受苦，你不可能視而不見。
