The endo-BCN-PEG4-Palmitic ester contains one Palmitic group and one BCN group at its end. BCN groups can easily react with azide labeled biomolecules. Without catalyst, BCN can easily react with azide functionalized compounds or biomolecules to form stable triazole bonds. PEG spacers increase the water solubility of the obtained compounds.
