Huffer!Pipes!Puffer!Road Rager!

Pipes! Puffer! Huffer! Road Ranger! I had the absolute pleasure working with Ittoku san in Takara Tomy on bringing this partial new mold from Deluxe Minibot Huffer to make the Kingdom Deluxe Pipes you all know and love.
As you can see from the first image, the variant head was planned from the start, we always plan ahead further uses of molds.
I love bots with visors and battle masks, two things high on my preferred preferences. Swiping to the other images, you can see my linework and some detailed plans to get pipes lookin solid. Ittoku and I worked seamlessly in developing this guy, we had alot of different ideas and some similar, but you can see which ideas stayed around while others were scrapped.
You can see the documents of CAD development as well, also the first prototype model for the figure. The grey primed new prototype parts can easily be seen against the wacky colored existing huffer parts. The odd colors are a random choice by the factory, they’ll use anything they have in the machine at the time or anything they have an abundance of.
This mold has been somewhat of a dream to work on, I absolutely love trucks and if you shrink big tough trucks down to a minibot size, welp…Your hittin me right in the feels!
