The call and data cost in Sweden is not a good budge, but with student subscriptions, it's convenient to surf online in or outside Sweden. However, when leaving Sweden and heading to another EU country, this remaining Swedish number could become a dilemma: the Swedish mobile number is directly connected to BankID, therefore quite important to keep and receive certification codes in future; However, most the Swedish mobile number are subscribed monthly, where additional cost may arise after leaving Sweden.

Therefore, a transfer to the Swedish mobile number would be beneficial. The author would like to suggest:

• First, review the mobile network operator in the destination country in future and compare their common fare with current Swedish mobile subscription. If the Swedish mobile subscription is much cheaper than the next country (such as compared with Belgium), it would be better to keep the Swedish mobile subscription and roaming in the EU.

• If the destination has a cheaper mobile phone bundle or cheaper mobile data connection, the current Swedish mobile phone number could be reserved with minimized cost?via Pas As You Go (prepaid card) options.

  Among the operators in Sweden, the author chose Halebop's prepaid card(kontantkort) plan and transferred the number to their SIM card.
