It is said that he prefers the company of wolves to men, and is a formidable hunter who prowls the forest. He has rarely been sighted, as he keeps his distance from other humans.

在坊間的傳聞里，有人說他是被狼收養(yǎng)的棄嬰，有人說他是狼靈的化身……

Some say he is an orphan raised by wolves. Others say he is a wolf spirit in human form...

這些猜測都為這位「狼少年」蒙上了一層神秘的色彩。

As the rumours grow, so does the mystery surrounding this Wolf Boy.

而「狼少年」，雷澤本人，今日依舊站在山崗上，和待他如「盧皮卡」的狼群一起，沐浴著溫暖的陽光。

All the while, Razor the Wolf Boy stands today on a mountaintop, basking in the warm sunlight, with his family — his "Lupical" — of wolves by his side.

【Character Details】

雷澤是生活在奔狼領(lǐng)的神秘少年，很少有蒙德居民能發(fā)現(xiàn)他的行蹤。

Razor is a boy whose identity is shrouded in mystery. He lives in Wolvendom and is rarely spotted by the citizens of Mondstadt.

但據(jù)少數(shù)目擊者稱，雷澤五感敏銳，身手矯健，能在樹林中高速穿梭，又常與狼群共同出沒，不會主動靠近人類。

According to a handful of eyewitness accounts, Razor has keen senses and is highly agile, traversing the forest at breakneck speed. He is often seen in the company of his wolf pack, while generally avoiding contact with humans.

eyewitness account = a description given by someone who was present at an event

breakneck [adj.] = carelessly fast and dangerous

有人猜測，他是被狼群撫養(yǎng)大的棄嬰。也有人說，他是幻化成少年模樣的狼靈。

Some speculate that he was an orphan raised by the wolves, while others say he is a wolf spirit that has taken on a human form.

種種猜測，為「狼少年」這一別稱增添了許多神秘色彩。

Such rumors only add to the mystery of the "Wolf Boy," as the denizens of Mondstadt call him.

而「狼少年」雷澤本人，今日依舊站在山崗上，仰頭沐浴著溫暖的陽光。

Meanwhile, Razor the Wolf Boy stands all the while on the hilltops with his head held high, basking in the warm sunlight.

【Character Story 1】

雷澤日夜生活在狼群之中。

Razor lives among the wolves night and day.

每匹狼都與他親密無間，誰的嚎聲更響，誰的跑速更快，誰更擅長偷襲……沒有雷澤不了解的狼。

All of them are as close with Razor as they could possibly be. Which wolf has the loudest howl, which wolf runs the fastest, which wolf is the best at ambushing — there isn't a wolf Razor doesn't know.

雷澤聽得懂風(fēng)的情緒，聞得見遠方的氣味，記得住許多花草的用途，唯獨想不起親生父母的面容。

He can sense the mood of the wind, smell a scent from miles away, and knows many practical applications for plants of all kinds. The one thing he can't bring to mind is the faces of his parents.

bring to mind = to cause one to think of or remember sb or sth

他們究竟是怎樣的人呢？雷澤費盡力氣也回憶不起。

What kind of people were they? No matter how hard he tries, he cannot remember.

記事起，他就和狼生活在一起。

His memory starts after his life with the wolves had already begun.

狼待他如「盧皮卡」——這是別人教他的詞，意為「家人」。

The wolves took him in as part of their "Lupical" — a word he was taught by someone else, which means family.

take sb in = to take care of someone and provide a place in your home for them

天空中飛著小小的、會唱歌的東西。

Tiny singing things are flying in the sky.

云朵拉長成一條， 蓬蓬絨絨，好像狼的尾巴。

The clouds are long and fluffy, like a wolf's tail.

雷澤的世界很簡單。

Razor's world is a simple one.

晴朗的日子狂奔追捕，背著獵物采摘成熟的水果；下雨的日子鉆進樹洞，抱住狼的尾巴枕著草葉入睡。

On a sunny day, you run around hunting or try and beat your prey to the ripe fruits. On a rainy day, you hide out in a hollow tree and fall asleep hugging a furry lupine friend, with some grass and leaves for a pillow.

大口大口進食，咕咚咕咚喝水，熱了跳進湖水里游泳，渴了就找香甜多汁的果子。

Eat as much as you can and drink plenty of water. Cool off in the lake when you're hot, and go find some juicy berries when you're thirsty.

雷澤看看自己的身軀和手臂，又看看「狼」的身軀和手臂。

Razor looks at his body and then at the bodies of his kin.

他知道自己與「狼」很不一樣。

He knows he is different from them.

但雷澤覺得這樣的生活很好。

But there's nothing wrong with that, as far as Razor is concerned.

【角色故事3】

【Character Story 3】

某一天，陌生的高個子男人來到山里，打破了雷澤平靜的生活。

One day, a tall man came to the mountains and disrupted Razor's peaceful life.

雷澤不認識他，只知道面前站著的是一個「人類」。他的迷茫讓陌生人露出友善的微笑。

Razor did not know who the man was, only that he was a human. Seeing the confused look on Razor's face, the man gave him a friendly smile.

(碎碎念：except that?)

「孩子，跟我回蒙德城怎么樣？」

"Hey buddy! Why don't you come back down to Mondstadt with me?"

(buddy = [US] used by an adult talking to a young boy in a friendly and kind way)

男人說著，向雷澤伸出手。

The man offered his hand to Razor as he spoke.

雷澤和狼都不明白他的意思。狼群護在雷澤身前，不許男人靠近他。

But neither Razor nor the wolves understood the gesture. Feeling protective, the wolves placed themselves between Razor and the man to keep him away.

protective = [adj.] wanting to protect someone from criticism, hurt, danger, etc. because you like them very much（例：A mother naturally feels ~ towards her children.）

雷澤縮在狼尾巴堆里?？纯醋约旱纳碥|和手臂，又透過皮毛的縫隙看看那個「人」的身軀和手臂。

Razor ducked down beneath the wolves' furry tails. He looked at his body, and then peered out through the gaps in the wolf fur to get a look at the man's.

他知道自己算不上聰明，有個問題，他從那時就一直想不明白。

Razor knew he wasn't the most intelligent of beings, and was at a loss to answer the question that has been in his mind ever since that day.

「我屬于狼，還是屬于人……？」

"Am I a human, or a wolf?"

【角色故事4】

【Character Story 4】

「雷澤」這個名字，是那個男人為他取的。

It was that man who gave Razor his name.

單純的狼少年還無法理解人類的語言，卻隱約從男人臉上讀懂了含義——這是男人贈予自己的稱呼。

The simple Wolf Boy could not understand the intricacies of human language, but he knew from the look on the man's face when he produced this sound that the man was giving him a name.

「雷，澤。」

"Rae-zer."

奔狼領(lǐng)的樹影從長變短，又從短變長。

The shadows cast by the trees of Wolvendom grew short, and then grew long again.

男人教會了雷澤揮舞劍的方法。笨重的「鐵爪子」，卻銳利到連樹木都能劈斷。

The man taught Razor how to swing a sword. Unwieldy though this steel claw may be, thought Razor, it was at least sharp enough to cut through tree branches.

「今后，也要保護好你的朋友?！?/span>

"Now you can protect your friends."

「朋，友?！?/span>

"Fr-ren-dzz..."

雷澤笨拙地重復(fù)著男人吐出的音節(jié)。他還不太明白他的意思。

Razor imitated the sounds the man made, without understanding what they meant.

就像他也不明白名字到底算不算重要的東西。因為直到那個男人離開，雷澤都未能從他口中獲知他的「名字」。

Similarly, he did not understand why the names of things were all that important in the first place. After all, he never learned the name of that man before he left.

「師父，朋友，是什么意思？」

"Master, what is... 'friends'?"

雷澤用自己并不算豐富的詞匯，磕磕絆絆地問他新認識的師父。

Razor once asked of his new mentor, working at the limits of his vocabulary.

從地里結(jié)的土豆如何做成好吃的土豆餅，到夏夜中最亮的星的名字，他紫色的師父無所不知。

His purple-clothed mentor seemed to know it all, from how to make hash browns from potatoes in the ground, to the name of the brightest star in the summer night sky.

師父麗莎打了個哈欠，朝他笑著，沒有回答。

However, Lisa simply smiled and yawned without answering him.

雷澤吹風(fēng)的時候在想，淋雨的時候也在想，想到鉤鉤果黏滿了背后的頭發(fā)，都沒能想出來。

Razor thought about it when the wind blew, when the rain fell — even when Wolfhook berries got stuck in his fur. He just couldn't figure it out.

后來雷澤遇到了一個紅紅的、很燙的女孩子。

Until one day, Razor met a bright-red, 'burny' girl.

他們一起吹風(fēng)，一起淋雨，一起在長滿鉤鉤果的灌木叢邊打滾。

They stood in the wind together, got soaked in the rain together — she even rolled around in Wolfhook bushes with him.

女孩的名字是可莉。跟她一起玩鬧，雷澤就像重新回到童年。那時跟狼群伙伴打鬧，也讓他如此快樂。

Her name was Klee. When Razor played with her, it was like being a wolf pup again.

「原來朋友，就跟盧皮卡一樣啊?！?/span>

"Friends... is... Lupical."

雷澤不太理解人情世故，但他有著野獸般原始而率直的忠誠。

Razor may not understand the complexity of human relationships, but he has an honest, primal loyalty to him.

「——那么，你也跟盧皮卡一樣，是要用生命守護的人了?！?/span>

"So... protect friends... Lupical... with life."

遠處傳來隱隱的狼嚎，是呼喚他回家的聲音。

The wolf pack howls in the distance, summoning him home.

雷澤依舊不知道自己屬于狼，還是屬于人。

Razor still does not know if he is a human or a wolf.

但雷澤覺得這樣的生活很好。

But he is happy either way.

粗糙到打開都要小心扎手的木箱里，裝著雷澤的寶物。

In a box so crudely made that one has to be extra careful when opening it lies Razor's greatest treasures.

一把斷裂的大劍刀柄、一本名叫《風(fēng)車菊與狼》的童話故事書、一株已經(jīng)枯黃的四葉草。

The broken-off hilt of a greatsword, a children's storybook called The Wolf and the Windwheel Aster, and a dry, withered four-leaf clover.

對不懂人情世故的雷澤而言，這些「朋友」們送給他的禮物，就是他最珍貴的財富。

Though he understands neither the intricacies of human relations nor the ways of the world, Razor knows that these are gifts from the ones known as 'friends' — and that is what makes them his most treasured possessions of all.

【神之眼】

【Vision】

獲得「神之眼」的經(jīng)過，是雷澤為數(shù)不多的，不愿想起的記憶。

The story of how Razor got his Vision is one of the few memories that he wishes he could forget.

那個雷雨天，一個深淵法師從背后偷襲并帶走了雷澤。

One day, during a lightning storm, an Abyss Mage ambushed Razor from behind and dragged him away.

前來營救他的狼群朝深淵法師發(fā)起了無畏的攻擊，然而，卻被法術(shù)盡數(shù)擊倒在地。

The wolf pack ran to his aid and put up a fearless fight, but every last one of them was defeated by the Abyss Mage.

眼看同伴被殘害，無能為力的雷澤如同困獸一般痛苦咆哮起來。

As he looked on helplessly at his dear companions being harmed, Razor let out an almighty roar like that of a cornered animal.

——「盧皮卡」。

"Lupical!"

暴怒的雷電在他身上纏繞，過量的元素力在他體內(nèi)奔流。

Fueled by his almighty fury, a lightning-like power grew inside, and suddenly an overload of elemental energy was flowing within him.

他想保護，他想復(fù)仇。

He was ready to protect. He was ready to avenge.

他掙脫鎖鏈，舉起武器。

He threw off his shackles and raised his weapon.

深淵法師被無序的狂暴雷電擊潰，但這次倒下的那些同伴，已經(jīng)來不及保護了。

The Abyss Mage was overwhelmed and defeated by a wild, unfettered frenzy of Electro energy, but this time it was too late to save Razor's wolven companions.

盡管獲得了「神之眼」，那時的雷澤還不知道該如何駕馭這種力量。

Though he had obtained a Vision, Razor was still unable to manipulate Electro energy with finesse.

很久以后的某一天，他遇到了薔薇魔女麗莎，開始向她學(xué)習(xí)人類的知識。

One day many moons later, when he met the Witch of Purple Rose, Lisa, he began to study human knowledge.

「不想再讓任何同伴受傷了?！?/span>

"Friends, hurt... Never again! I will... protect them."

雷澤使用「神之眼」的技巧日漸熟練。

With each day, Razor grew more skilled in the use of his Vision.

他暗暗下了決心：要變強，變得比誰都強。

He made a silent promise to himself: "I will become stronger. I will become the strongest of them all."

危險來臨時，他必將保護他的「盧皮卡」。

Because the day may come when his Lupical faces another threat, and this time, he will protect them.
