Today is World Population Day. It is estimated that the world’s population has reached 5 billion, and the United Nations issued a memorial on July 11, 1987. In the next 32 years, the current world population is estimated to be approximately 7.6 billion. The Earth at night was taken by NASA’s Earth Observation Satellite "Suomi NPP". The population is growing, and the urban areas are booming. The particularly bright area in the center of the picture is India. Of the top 20 cities in the world between 2015 and 19, 14 were in India.
