• US President Donald Trump?announced Tuesday he is halting funding to the?World Health Organization?while a review is conducted.

特朗普稱，審查范圍包括世衛(wèi)組織是如何導(dǎo)致“嚴(yán)重的處置失當(dāng)和掩蓋病毒擴(kuò)散”的。

• Trump said the review would cover?the WHO's "role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of coronavirus."

他指責(zé)世衛(wèi)組織在病毒暴發(fā)初期反對對中國實施旅行限制，這是一個“最危險、付出代價最大的決定”（one of the most dangerous and costly decisions from the WHO?）。

• “Fortunately, I was not convinced and suspended travel from China saving untold numbers of lives,” he said.

• 特朗普說，“還好我沒信他們的話，對中國實行了旅行禁令，挽救了無數(shù)生命?！?/span>

特朗普還稱，如果世衛(wèi)組織處理得當(dāng)?shù)脑?，美國就能更早地采取旅行禁令?/p>

• Trump said if the WHO had acted appropriately, he could have instituted a travel ban on people coming from China sooner.

此外，他還指責(zé)世界衛(wèi)生組織沒有及時分享疫情信息，沒有及時提供防疫政策建議，沒有及時宣布“全球大流行”等。

特朗普稱“在這么長時間后，是時候讓他們?yōu)榇素?fù)責(zé)了”。

• Trump said the United States contributes roughly $400 to $500 million per year to WHO. The money saved will go to areas that "most need it," Trump asserted.

• 特朗普稱美國每年大約資助世衛(wèi)組織4億到5億美元。特朗普聲稱，現(xiàn)在這些省下的錢會用到最急需的地方。

聯(lián)合國秘書長古特雷斯（United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres?）14日對特朗普的決定做了回應(yīng)，稱現(xiàn)在不是停繳會費的時候（now is “not the time”?）。

• The UN chief said in a Tuesday statement that it is “not the time to reduce the resources for the operations of the World Health Organization or any other humanitarian organization in the fight against the virus.”

• 聯(lián)合國秘書長14日在一份聲明中稱，現(xiàn)在不是減少世界衛(wèi)生組織或任何其他人道主義組織用于抗擊病毒行動所需資源的時候。

古特雷斯稱，世界衛(wèi)生組織必須得到支持，這對全球戰(zhàn)勝新冠疫情的努力絕對關(guān)鍵。

• He added that he believed the WHO, a UN agency, must be supported, calling it “absolutely critical” to winning the “war” against the coronavirus pandemic.

特朗普近日接連將矛頭對準(zhǔn)世衛(wèi)組織。4月7日，特朗普在白宮每日疫情簡報會上宣稱，將阻止美國向WHO提供資金，因為該組織持有“以中國為中心”（“China-centric”）的立場。4月8日，特朗普繼續(xù)攻擊世衛(wèi)組織，并稱會在會費問題上“下決心”。

CNN評論稱，特朗普政府面對抗疫不力的指責(zé)時，就甩鍋世衛(wèi)組織和媒體。

?WHO started sounding the alarm on the outbreak of a new coronavirus in China, in mid-January, designating the now Covid-19 pandemic as a global health emergency on Jan?30 when there were just 8,200 cases in 18 countries across the world.

世衛(wèi)組織1月中旬開始發(fā)出警報，稱一種新型冠狀病毒疫情在中國暴發(fā)，1月30日就宣布如今被稱為新冠肺炎大流行病的疫情為國際關(guān)注的突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件，當(dāng)時全球只有18個國家報告了8200例確診病例。

?The WHO’s global emergency declaration on Jan?30 was nearly a month before Trump tweeted that “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA” and six weeks before he declared a national emergency on March 13.

1月30日，世衛(wèi)組織宣布國際關(guān)注的突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件，過了將近一個月，特朗普還在發(fā)推特說，“美國把新冠病毒控制得很好”，過了6個星期，他才在3月13日宣布美國進(jìn)入國家緊急狀態(tài)。

?Two days earlier, on March 11, WHO officials declared the outbreak a pandemic, when there were just 121,000 global cases.

在此兩天前，3月11日，世衛(wèi)組織官員宣布新冠肺炎疫情全球大流行，當(dāng)時全球只有12.1萬病例。

據(jù)美國約翰斯·霍普金斯大學(xué)發(fā)布的全球新冠肺炎數(shù)據(jù)實時統(tǒng)計系統(tǒng)，截至美國東部時間4月14日晚6時，全美共報告新冠肺炎確診602989例，死亡25575例，共檢測3081620例。在過去24小時，全美新增確診25682例，新增死亡2356例。
