復(fù)讀齊澤克:不要“做自己”

Zizek on "Being Yourself"
- Why Zizek says that "being yourself" is an ideological trap?
- What does the Lacanian "fundamental fantasy" mean?
- How can you learn to be a person who goes beyond "fundamental fantasy"?
------------------
"Being yourself" as an ideological trap
對(duì)于什么才是“真實(shí)自我”的焦慮,以為 there is such a thing as an authentic chord to your own being.
Lacan's theory of the subject 個(gè)體在社會(huì)中具有人際關(guān)系、工作責(zé)任,但除去這些面具之后,何為“真實(shí)自我”?
You are your own mask. 面具之下并沒有一個(gè)核心的本體/本質(zhì)
The ultimate ideological play is to promise that you can exit ideology and become yourself.
The idea that "you need to be searching for your authentic self" is a reaction to Marxist "alienation". Within Capitalism, the idea that you could find your true self becomes itself the commodity that is sold to you. The more alienated you become, the more you think that you can buy a commodity that will reveal your true self to you.
------------
the fundamental fantasy: the idea that there is a true, authentic you.
If you take the symbolic away from our reality, you lose reality itself.
The authentic subjectivity is the ultimate illusion underlying the capitalist system of excess.
