????When Jade and Seymour left Section 13, they encountered Jackie Chan and Captain Black.

????“It was just reported to me that trails of the Dark Hand were found near a museum…”

????“Jade, where will you go?”

????Jade grinned and said: “I wanna hang out before it gets dark. Breathe the fresh air.”

????“Come back early.”

????With the Snake Talisman, Hsi Wu’s departure from Section 13 did not draw any attention. He finally saw the sky again after so many days.

????The sun slanted in the sky and the birds joyfully sang on the boughs. Vehicles flowed and pedestrians streamed in the street. Seymour stretched cheerfully, feeling free from shackles.

????“Be quick, Hsi Wu, we must make haste to Moose World before it’s closed.” To reach Moose World earlier, Jade took the Rooster and the Rabbit talismans from the treasury. Jade floated in the air and could not help flying towards Moose World, “Let’s see who can get there first.”

????Seymour could only spread out his hands: “But Jade, I don’t know where Moose World is.”

????“Oh.”

????Seymour spread his wings and soared happily in the sky, wings greeting cool winds. His hair streamed and his clothes whistled and whined. Commanding the earth from a height, all buildings and streets of San Francisco lay like a Go board before him, all of which he could not feel on the ground.

????Long hasn’t he flown so freely. Every moment in Section 13 he had been missing the sky. His wish was met today at last.

????“Seymour, we have arrived!”

????A huge Moose World loomed in their sight. Jade and Seymour landed in a secluded alley.

????“Let’s go!” Jade took Seymour’s hand and rushed to Moose World.

????All rides in Moose World were new to Seymour. The slowly-spinning sky wheel, the high-fleeting roller coaster… every ride interested him though it did not stimulate the demon at all. Compared to Moose World itself, it was hanging out with Jade that made him happier.

????“Is this ice cream?” Seymour took the ice cream cone Jade presented him, feeling curious.

????Jade squinted and smiled: “Have a try.”

????Seymour bit it slightly, the fragrance of green apples! His eyes gaped surprisingly: “It’s far more delicious than whatever I ate!”

????“Ice cream is the most delicious food in the world. Of course, the chocolate, hamburgers, and root soda may match. But Jackie never lets me have too much.”

????Seymour ate so quickly that some cream clung to his face. Seeing this, Jade burst out laughing pointing at his face. Seymour did not know why and looked at Jade puzzledly, his tongue still licking the ice cream.

????All was pleasant until Drew’s awful voice came: “Look, is this Jade? I have thought you only like to fight Ninjas and don’t like coming to play in Moose World.”

????Seymour turned about and saw Drew and several other boys, all of whom were those who mostly liked to make fun of Jade among their classmates. They became not so cheerful seeing Seymour, “Drew, will you cry since your mom isn’t with you?”

????“What!” At this time, Drew recognized who the boy in front of him was. He was Seymour who suddenly appeared and disappeared a few months before. He was the one who was on Jade’s side. “Never will I!”

????“But aren’t you a baby of your mom? How do you feel without her holding you?” Seymour wore a weird smile and drew near, staring at his eyes.

????They were almost of the same height. But when Seymour stood before him, Drew felt a chill coming into his heart out of nowhere. Not only he but his friends all stepped back timidly. Although Seymour was just one boy, they felt as if they were confronted with a giant monster.

????“You are a monster!” The boys screamed and bolted away.

????Jade was also astounded by Seymour’s action, ignorant of her ice cream which had dropped on the ground, “Seymour?”

????Seymour’s smile faded in an instant, not knowing what to do, “Jade…”

????“Seymour, what just happened?” Isn’t Seymour the good half of Hsi Wu? But Seymour just made her feel he was not the Good but Hsi Wu himself.

????Seymour dared not look Jade in the eye, “Jade, I just want to help you this way.”

????“You thought you were helping me and did not do mischiefs, didn’t you?” Jade put her arm around Seymour’s neck with a smile, walked towards the sky wheel, and said lightly: “They are awful indeed. If Uncle Jackie agreed, I would have kicked hard at their asses! Let’s take the sky wheel!”

????A shadow squatted on the roof of a skyscraper beside Moose World. He, the Evil, stared at Jade and Seymour who were playing in the park.

????“My good half was released? I won’t believe they did not do anything to it.” Hsi Wu leaped up, swept across the sky, and turned into human form landing in Moose Park.

????Hsi Wu sneakily followed Jade and Seymour. He smelled the spell they gave off before he was near them.

????“The spell.” Hsi Wu sneered and drew near them. He suddenly felt a sense of electricity when they were three meters ahead. He could not be nearer but he saw the red threads around their necks, “The old man has too many devices.”

????Hsi Wu forsook them and paced away, “I need help…”

????Hsi Wu caught Drew and his companions gathered around the ice cream van. His mouth slightly curled up and a shining smile appeared: “Hi guys, can I join you?”
