Yes.
Because I have seen the quality of life improving around me from past three generations.
My great grandfather never saw electricity, gas, phones, Acs etc. Never could visit his favourite places because of his low physical stamina. He could not go by walk. He lived only on agriculture income. He was given only basic High school education.
Whereas my great grand mother was much more intelligent in farming techniques. I was told since I was very very young when they were alive.
My grandfather was given proper education. He saw electricity, buses, trains, telegram facilities, a better communication skills, many places he could visit. Had decent life but could not fight with seasonal flooding of his place.

是的，很滿(mǎn)意。
因?yàn)槲铱吹轿疑磉叺纳钯|(zhì)量從過(guò)去的三代人中不斷提高。
我的曾祖父從未見(jiàn)過(guò)電、煤氣、電話(huà)、空調(diào)等等。由于體力不濟(jì)，他從來(lái)不能去他最喜歡的地方。他不能步行去。他只靠農(nóng)業(yè)收入生活。他只接受了基礎(chǔ)的高中教育。
而我的曾祖母在農(nóng)業(yè)技術(shù)方面則聰明得多。他們?cè)谑赖臅r(shí)候，我很小就有人這樣告訴我。
我的祖父受到了適當(dāng)?shù)慕逃?。他看到了電力，公共汽?chē)，火車(chē)，電報(bào)設(shè)施，更好的溝通技術(shù)，可以去許多地方。他過(guò)著體面的生活，但無(wú)法與季節(jié)性的洪水作斗爭(zhēng)。

My father saw much more improvement. He was a civil engineer in PWD. He designed many civil projects. Gave good education to all his children. All communication, conveyance facilities, trading facilities, marketing facilities improved.
Next my generation, you all know how the country is.. I need not explain. You can live life to a maximum with a smart phone in hand. Lives become comparatively easy.
Now my son's generation. They find opportunities in every thing. I surprised to see the youngesters who come to him with start-up ideas. My daughter in law's innovative ideas and financial tips to her clients.
Life is for constant learning. Constant attempts to improve in all aspects.
We oldies should stop cribbing and whining. Let the young birds spread their wings and experience and experiment new oppurtunities. Let us not spoil their brains by pouring our frustration in. Things appear as you see.

我父親看到了更多的進(jìn)步。他是PWD的一名土木工程師。他設(shè)計(jì)了許多民用工程。給他所有的孩子提供良好的教育。所有通訊、運(yùn)輸設(shè)施、貿(mào)易設(shè)施、營(yíng)銷(xiāo)設(shè)施均有改善。

我們這些老家伙應(yīng)該停止哭訴抱怨了。讓雛鳥(niǎo)展開(kāi)翅膀，體驗(yàn)和試驗(yàn)新的機(jī)遇。讓我們不要把我們的挫折感傾注在他們的腦子里。事情就像你看到的那樣。

Every thing have positive and negative sides. Let us learn to benefit from it.
Our bus break down while we were touring uttarakhand.
Few elders started lecturing. Poured out their frustration about Indian tourism.
I could not stand their hate speech and depressive mentality. I convinced my husband and went around in to the greenery for a small walk.
One of them heckled us by saying ‘What else you can do in this hopeless country? Go! Go!
My husband calmly replied.’ we can create hope' just we should not be hopeless fellows or lazy creatures!
I showed the ripen berries we plucked randomly while coming back. Unexpected gain. I don't even know their name. Local kids were eating. So, I too plucked a few.

任何事情都有積極和消極的一面，讓我們學(xué)會(huì)從中受益。

Those people saw that break down as a hindrance.
I saw it as a beautiful time to spend with my husband,with the local kids, to see around.
I said '’ instead of whining you could have explored your surroundings. For that only we came from south to this far! Paid so much money. This is provided free of cost, out of package.’ extra. Just you missed because you are…full of pessimism.
Their faces became red.
Few won't realise life itself is the biggest ‘profit' than any other thing.
I am happy with whatever quality my country offers. Because there is a hope in my country people. They can go anywhere. They are helpful whatever country, place they go. They offer best behaviour and best brains. Welcomed in most countries.

那些人把這次故障看作是一種障礙。

My quality of life? Myself I have seen my native place reachable only by jatka (horse carts). At present the nearest airport is by 1 hour now. Communication everywhere, conveyance facilities every where. Farmers go on bikes, cycles, many have vehicles.
Is there need of improvement? Yes. Much still needs to get improved.
But before question anyone, we should question ourselves.
While throwing trash around the dustbin we can't question or talk about cleanliness in the country.
While breaking traffic rules and constructing buildings violating rules, getting driving licence through touts, can't talk about roads and road safty.
While giving bribes to get our work done, can't talk about the corruption of civil works done by govt.
What we are , that we have.

我的生活質(zhì)量？就我自己而言，我只能通過(guò)馬車(chē)才能到達(dá)我的家鄉(xiāng)?，F(xiàn)在，離最近的機(jī)場(chǎng)只有1個(gè)小時(shí)。通訊無(wú)處不在，交通工具無(wú)處不在。農(nóng)民們騎自行車(chē)，摩托車(chē)，很多人都有車(chē)。
還需要改進(jìn)嗎? 是的，還有很多地方需要改進(jìn)。

當(dāng)違反交通規(guī)則和違章建筑，通過(guò)非法渠道獲得駕駛執(zhí)照的時(shí)候，我們不能談?wù)摰缆泛偷缆钒踩珕?wèn)題。
當(dāng)為完成我們的工作而行賄的時(shí)候，我們不能談?wù)撜两üこ痰母瘮?wèn)題。
我們是什么，我們擁有什么。

Leave aside the pessimism by the bus passengers, I see an element of truth in their statement. Why? Because people might be innovative coming with the best startups but the venture capitalists or the big pockets come from someone most likely sitting in some Western country. Most of the brains work directly or indirectly for for projects based in those countries.

Oh no!
I live in India
Quality of life is not great.
* Housing is both inferior and overpriced
* Healthcare is second grade and overpriced
* Tourism is fifth rate most of the time
* Everything is religious these days
* Local Products are of inferior quality and overpriced
* Most Leaders are illiterate or semi literate or unaware
* Judges except HC Judges either are clueless (magistrates), dithering (session judges) or act omnipotent (SC)
* Businessmen are greedy and have absolute zero resourcefulness
* Even Films were deteriorating in quality until Jai Bhim came along.
The only positive thing about my country today is : Its not worse
Even Mukesh Ambani seems to be thinking of cooler shores and hes the fifth most powerful man in India today (After Modi, Shah, Kovind & Ramana)
So imagine the middle classes!!!
