但是我們迷失了方向

But we have lost the way.

貪婪毒害了人們的靈魂…

Greed has poisoned men's souls…

仇恨阻隔了世界…

has barricaded the world whit hate…

讓我們一步步走進(jìn)同類(lèi)相殘的苦難深淵

has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

我們是在快速發(fā)展 但也自我封閉起來(lái)

We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in.

大工業(yè)帶來(lái)了物質(zhì)文明 缺讓人們變成赤貧者

Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.

我們的知識(shí)讓自己變得乖僻 我們的智慧冷酷而無(wú)情

Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind.

我們野心太大缺缺乏感受

We think too much and feel too little.

相比機(jī)器 我們更需要人性

More than machinery, we need humanity.

相比才智 我們更需要仁慈和善良

More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.

沒(méi)有了而這些品質(zhì) 人生就將變得殘酷無(wú)情

Without these qualities, life will be violent, and all will be lost.

飛機(jī)和廣播讓我們更加接近

The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together.

這些發(fā)明的本意就是用來(lái)喚起人類(lèi)的善良…

These very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men…

喚起全世界人民的手足之情 讓我們團(tuán)結(jié)在一起

cries out for universal brotherhood, for the unity for us all.

數(shù)百萬(wàn)絕望當(dāng)中的男人、女人和孩子

millions of despairing men, women and little children…

制度下的犧牲者 受盡折磨和禁錮的無(wú)辜人民

victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.

我要對(duì)那些能聽(tīng)到我的人說(shuō)：不要絕望

To those who can hear me I say, do not despair.

我們現(xiàn)在承受的苦難是由于貪婪所致…

The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed…

who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder!

不要聽(tīng)命于那些心理扭曲的變態(tài)…

Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men-

和鐵石心腸的戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)機(jī)器！

machine men with machine minds and machine hearts!

你們不是機(jī)器！你們不是牲口！你們是人類(lèi)！

You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men!

你們心中都懷著人類(lèi)的愛(ài)

By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power.
