What I did do was try to make the right decision for me at the time whether or not it had ever been successfully done before.我所做的就是努力去做對(duì)當(dāng)下的自己來(lái)說(shuō)，正確的決定，不論這個(gè)決定是否有過(guò)成功的先例。

Oftentimes in any industry, people are looking for a precedent, or data that shows this idea is a good one or feasible one.通常來(lái)說(shuō)，在任何行業(yè)，人們都習(xí)慣于找先例，或者數(shù)據(jù)，去證明某個(gè)選擇或決定是好的、行得通的。

People want an example of something working before.人們總想著要走一條之前就行得通的路。

But I think the coolest ideas or moves or choices are the new ones.但我認(rèn)為真正酷的想法，或者行動(dòng)，或者選擇，是有創(chuàng)新意味的。

The ones that set a new precedent.那種想法、行動(dòng)、選擇才是真正成為先例的。

I try as hard as I can not to fail ‘cause it’s embarrassing but I do give myself permission, too.

So go easy on yourselves and just make the right choices that feel right for you.所以，對(duì)自己寬容一些吧，去做那些自己覺(jué)得正確的事情。
