Fightful Select報(bào)道Steve Austin一直猶豫，因?yàn)樗?003年退役，并對(duì)這個(gè)狀況非常挑剔，McMahon也對(duì)于確保Austin準(zhǔn)備好進(jìn)行這場(chǎng)“即興的”WrestleMania main event比賽非常挑剔。
據(jù)報(bào)道McMahon自己和Drew Gulak飛到Austin的Texas農(nóng)場(chǎng)準(zhǔn)備WrestleMania。Gulak和Austin進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練，Austin開(kāi)始基本上進(jìn)入角色稱呼Gulak。Gulak配合，兩個(gè)人實(shí)際上在農(nóng)場(chǎng)進(jìn)行了一場(chǎng)長(zhǎng)時(shí)間的比賽。Gulak還和McMahon一起訓(xùn)練。

6.Fightful Select報(bào)道多位WWE頂級(jí)選手都在2022年夏天時(shí)表示希望和John Cena進(jìn)行WrestleMania 39比賽。多位選手聽(tīng)說(shuō)Cena計(jì)劃參加WrestleMania，并進(jìn)行自2018年輸給The Undertaker之后首次在現(xiàn)場(chǎng)觀眾面前進(jìn)行的WrestleMania單打比賽。
WWE內(nèi)曾一度有人推動(dòng)Cena vs. Cody Rhodes，即使到8月已經(jīng)決定Rhodes挑戰(zhàn)Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns了。
此前報(bào)道過(guò)，根據(jù)內(nèi)部WWE文件，Cena vs. Logan Paul曾一度被考慮過(guò)，甚至臨時(shí)出現(xiàn)在截止秋天的計(jì)劃中。當(dāng)時(shí)還沒(méi)有計(jì)劃Theory，但截止12月，WWE已經(jīng)確定Cena vs. Theory了，不久之后也確定了Paul vs. Seth Rollins。

* Taya Valkyrie defeated Marina Shafir. Mark Sterling announced that he and AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill are suing Valkyrie. He sent a woman to the ring with lawsuit papers but Taya hit her with Road to Valhalla. Cargill went for the ring but Sterling and Leila Grey held her back
