Namo Amitabha
All Buddhas in the past, present, and future, cannot be separated from the ture nature of sentient beings. There are not external phenomena that can be truly obtained by us.
Once we eliminate illusory delusions and distorted cognition, our hearts will be like emptiness, originally pure.
Eulogy
Why bother with what the "first three and last three" are?
Becoming a Buddha is the infinitely bright cause that we should pursue.
Although we can no longer find the enlightened sages when we look back,
Our heart are as natural and perfect as white clouds and weeds.

Every word the old man says is an expression of his own nature
遺憾禪師落于相/ but the Zen master still only stays in the superficial realm of phenomena.
Dragons and snakes mix, and mortals and saints live together.
本就統(tǒng)一呵/ It originally means the same without distinction.
Such a clever answer, is truly both refined and popular.
Those who know appreciate what they know,
不知者賞不知之/ and those who do not know appreciate what they do not know.
Eulogy
堪笑前三與后三/ it's ridiculous that the so-called first three and last three,
當(dāng)初相對(duì)語喃喃/ When the two of them met each other, they had a lively conversation.
Zen master Wuzhuo gave us a great inspiration,
從此清涼沒可參/ so we gained a refreshing state of mind, with nothing to worry about.

What do you use to drink tea in daily life,
若依無著當(dāng)時(shí)/ If I were that Zen master Wuzhuo,
I would have raised my tea cup and drank it all in one gulp.
復(fù)嗦童子云斟茶來/ Then call the boy over and say 'pour tea'!
他若眼目定動(dòng)/ If his gaze flickered a little,
I would immediately smash the glass teacup
便行直教截殺這老翁去在/ and let the boy knock the old man out of the house!
Eulogy
五臺(tái)凝坐思遲遲/ Sitting in silence at the foot of Mount Wutai is slow in thinking,
白日青山被鬼迷/ and people will be confused by the ghosts their hearts in daylight.
最苦一般難理會(huì)/ The most distressing thing is that it is difficult for people to understand
玻璃盞子吃茶時(shí)/ the profound question of holding a glass tea cup while eating tea.

The mountains are green,
長林郁郁/ and the forests are lush and lush;
I couldn't help but feel sad and admiring,
久久不能自解/ unable to extricate myself for a long time.
To practice Zen is to dare to ask oneself,
愿得同修/ and may all the great virtues who practices together
以此為鑒/ take this public case as a warning!
Eulogy
You came all the way here to visit him once,
當(dāng)面不識(shí)君/ but when you meet him face-to-face, you couldn't recognize him;
如若識(shí)得君/ If you really know him, you can have a deep connection with him.
Why come all the way to visit him?
