外貿(mào)故事:給客戶免費(fèi)寄樣后發(fā)生了什么?
最近看到一個(gè)案例,小美是做健身類產(chǎn)品的,有一個(gè)英國(guó)的客戶,彼此交談都挺可以的,小美判斷是一個(gè)優(yōu)質(zhì)的客戶,客戶也表示會(huì)有大單!
小美似乎看到了大單正在向她招手,于是她非常大方地向公司申請(qǐng)給客戶免費(fèi)寄樣品,同時(shí)表示這是一個(gè)非常潛在的客戶。公司同意了,樣品也寄出去了,而且小美還非常貼心地幫客戶把運(yùn)費(fèi)也給付了,就等著客戶收到樣品后能給她帶來源源不斷的訂單。
結(jié)果,現(xiàn)實(shí)往往事與愿違。貨到了之后,還是需要客戶支付一些港雜費(fèi)清關(guān)費(fèi),大概是800-900英鎊的樣子,這個(gè)時(shí)候客戶開始跟小美玩起捉迷藏的游戲。無論小美如何給他發(fā)信息以及發(fā)郵件,就是不回復(fù),而國(guó)外代理也在不斷施壓,如果不及時(shí)提貨,每天會(huì)產(chǎn)生35英鎊的倉(cāng)儲(chǔ)費(fèi),小美急得像熱鍋上的螞蟻,最終等來客戶要求小美承擔(dān)一半清關(guān)費(fèi)的郵件。小美氣得差點(diǎn)爆炸,這客戶簡(jiǎn)直是得寸進(jìn)尺,最好我所有費(fèi)用都付了直接送你門上,下定決心就算就地銷毀也不會(huì)再理他了。

可是就算棄貨也有棄貨費(fèi),還要收貨人同意才能操作,真的是騎虎難下,不過聰明的小美急中生智,她趕緊聯(lián)系另外一個(gè)客戶,那個(gè)客戶表示對(duì)產(chǎn)品非常感興趣,立馬要支付清關(guān)費(fèi)用,這個(gè)樣品也算是名花有主了。
還看到不少小伙伴吐槽自己遇到了很low的一些其他國(guó)家的客戶,就是各種吐槽,一遇到問題就棄貨,估計(jì)現(xiàn)在大家都太難了!
所以,面對(duì)客戶要樣品,一定要做好客戶背景調(diào)查,如果是一些小的貿(mào)易商或者是個(gè)人的,最好還是收樣品費(fèi),提前溝通清楚各項(xiàng)費(fèi)用,他答應(yīng)了再安排樣品,如果是認(rèn)真做生意的,一般不會(huì)不肯出這點(diǎn)費(fèi)用,因?yàn)槲业漠a(chǎn)品都是屬于大件定制類的產(chǎn)品,很少會(huì)有客戶問到關(guān)于樣品的問題。今天我們看看大家是如何跟客戶收樣品費(fèi)的:

跟客戶表明:樣品單每天都會(huì)有很多,作為一個(gè)大工廠,我們會(huì)盡己所能盡快完成您要的樣品,如果您對(duì)樣品滿意,我們將會(huì)在你的下個(gè)訂單里抵扣掉這個(gè)樣品費(fèi)。

We know when a customer let us send samples, it means he has interest in the products or give a chance to supplier to evaluate whether can work with for potential order.

大家會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn),其實(shí)意思都差不多,只是表達(dá)有所不同。主要還是跟客戶說這次樣品費(fèi)會(huì)在確認(rèn)訂單的時(shí)候,再?gòu)目傤~里抵扣掉,現(xiàn)在要樣品只能麻煩客戶先付樣品費(fèi)。
這個(gè)方法可以幫你篩掉很多想占便宜的客戶,不肯給樣品費(fèi)的客戶也不是什么高質(zhì)量的客戶。
主要還是基于你對(duì)客戶的了解,如果你做過很詳細(xì)的客戶背景調(diào)查,他是大集團(tuán)的采購(gòu),或者是大的經(jīng)銷商,會(huì)有無數(shù)人給他免費(fèi)送樣品,這種就自己斟酌是否免費(fèi)給了,所以具體情況具體分析!
