The chart compares the average temperature and precipition in kolkata ,India ,over a calendar year. It is clear that the average monthly precipitation in the citt has changed a lot,while the monthly temperature has remained relatively stable.Between June and August ,rainfall is at its highest,while temperature in April and May are at their??highest. Between January and May,the average temperature in K rose from a minimum of approximately 20 degrees Celsius to a peak of just over 30 degree.Average rainfallin the city has also risen during this period,from about 20 millimeters in January to 100millimeters in May. Althrough the temperature remained almost constant for the next four months ,rainfall more than tripled between May and June .From June and Septembet,the rainfall data remained above 250millimeters and reach the peak at approximately 330 mm in July. In the last three months of the year ,there was a significant?drop in precipitation,falling to a minimum of about 10 mm in December ,while temperatures fell steadly to their January average.
